the audience are people too yes, i understand that, but there comes a point where generally speaking the audience *is* just a number to most creators at the end of the day, and to get caught up in those numbers and what those numbers think can destroy someone

i got a little deep and personal in this video just to show how i too am a person, and while i don't really expect anyone in my audience to care about me on a personal level either, it just goes to further prove my point that creators are also human; we make mistakes, we think wrong, we're ignorant, etc.

this isn't talking about genuinely deplorable people either (pedophiles, zoophiles, people still actively hurting others deeper than just hurt feelings), this is mostly focusing on petty drama as a result of people having controversial or "problematic" opinions, beliefs, and if those beliefs were in their younger years and they've long since grown out of them, that it's ridiculous to hold that over their heads and not allow them to grow

if i held the same stipulation to the people that tried to wreck my career, i believe i'd be in a way worse mindset than i am today. "Oh yeah I'm praying on your downfall *insert random ass username here* because you cooperated in a smear campaign against me" that'd be ridiculous on my part right? and overall the mindset of "this person mean get cancelled" is so exhausting to uphold imo, idk how anyone does it
