Dining room renovation PART 1 Lisa Piercy 2021-07-19 | Sorry for the long delay in getting this up and I almost didnt upload this as its incomplete, however i thought since i had the footage i shouldnt waste it. This is a good amount of what happened however I was very ill part way through and then we tidied the camera away during renovation and only just found it now as we were putting the room back together so.... there were man times i wanted to film but literally couldnt because i had no camera. My fault but there was a lot going on. The second video will be a room tour, however, we do want to get a lamp and have pictures to frame and hang, we just couldnt afford to buy frames right now and so those finishing touches will have to wait a little longer.All that said, this was a major renovation, i use renovation because this wasnt just decorating, we sanded, white spirit washed, stained twice on half the floor and waxed, painted ceiling, walls and all wood trimmings, painted furniture, and i recovered chair pads, we built a hearth and tiled it and installed a fireplace and so many other little things here and there. It has been a good 7 weeks since we started and we arent there yet, but by the end of this week we are hoping for all the charity stuff to be gone and to have both front room and dining room looking a lot better and ready to share with you all.I missed you all so so much xx
