Juuris Ultimate MEP Collection (2016-2017) LillieJuxx 2024-08-12 | Hello ! Hope that you’re doing fine everyone !For the moment, I’m back to my homeland. Thus, I was able to open my old laptop and copy most of the MEP parts that I’ve made in “my” editor life on my “new” laptop. Some are already uploaded on my channel or some are missing (dunno where they are, “forever lost in the laptop abyss”). However, here you have the first “ultimate MEP collection” of Juuri’s life editor. I will upload the second collection (the MEP parts from 2018 to 2020) later. I should also have entitled this MEP collection “I do not know what I was doing in SV and AE most of the time”.Anyway, I have to say that I teared up a little bit when I watched these MEP parts. I was really active in 2016 and 2017 before getting my jobs. Even if I am totally satisfied with my adult life, I have to say that it is always great to see how far I’ve come regarding editing. It is also a sort of “proper goodbye” to my precious studios: VisibleDesireStudios, SuperNovaStudios, Lilium Team, OnePieceStudios, E-Tales and so on. I “quit” editing around 2018-2019 and left most of my studios except Visible Desire Studio which was my “home”. When I “came back”, I realised that it was kind of left out and I was never able to say goodbye to the leaders: Rose and Tanja and its lovely members. I was able to say goodbye to SNS (it broke my heart) and to some other studios but not to VDS. I would like to thank all the leaders of the studios that I was in: Rose, Tanja, Hans, Lilia, Cam, Stella, Ari, Josie, etc from the bottom of my heart. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to join your studio, take part in different MEPs with various and challenging themes. While VDS has always been and will remain my home forever, SNS also became another home and a place where I could challenge myself more because I was sometimes not familiar with the songs or the themes used. And I can say that the three leaders DID a great job with SNS. So, thank you VDS and SNS because you gave me a place where I could be myself, talk to people who became my closest YT friends, my inspirations, my idols. You also helped me improve a lot regarding editing or self-growth. Thanks to the other studios because you also gave me many opportunities to improve my editing style. Thanks to the people who let me join their MEPs and have supported me for all these years. This collection also made me realise that I had a lot of friends at that time because in 2017, I joined a lot of birthday collabs and MEPs somehow hahaha xD What is also great is that I’m still in touch with the said friends: Noelle, Hannah, Ruby, Josie while others disappeared from YT. At that time, I subscribed to several studios, especially raw studios. One of them, NorthernLightStudios, hosted a public MEP. I fell in love with the song used and some lyrics totally fit BNHA, especially the Todoroki family, so I decided to give it a try after consideration. BNHA is one of my ever favourite animes. I discovered it in 2016, and I have eagerly followed each season and each episode of it. This anime, this manga is such a comfort for me. Not only is the storyline heartwrenching and amazingly written but the characters have also such in-depth development, their own uniqueness and tragic backgrounds. Despite yourself, you even get interested in the past of the villains and this is so mesmerizing. I've liked her from the beginning, and then I got slightly bored with her character when she started to fall in love with Izuku. Yet, Hori succeeded in making her interesting again. HELLO EVERYONE ! GOSH… Thought that I would never be able to finish this video. I started this project last August (when I went back to my homeland and decided to install SV PRO 15 on my work laptop). I continued to edit it obviously. It was so … complicated and exhausting, not because I lost inspiration, but just simply because SV was being so annoying. The version that I have lags or crashes a lot so it is a pain to make videos with it (even though I am not going to complain because I can finally edit again). Plus, I rendered this video at least 5 times: it didn’t render 3 times because there was an error message in SV. Then I managed to render it once but I had to fix some parts of the video (the pace was too slow or the zooming was lagging). Finally, I rendered it for the last time and it was a success. YAY ! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Concerning this video, I’m both torn and relieved since I like the outcome and the fact that I was able to use some of my favourite flowers pngs and used a new concept in my video. However, I think that I could have picked some better scenes and make the clips look smoother with the zooms. YET, I’m pretty satisfied with what I have already. I worked very hard on this video these last few days because I wanted to upload this video on the 30th March. You are not dreaming ! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Well, for the record, last year, I went to the cinema alone to watch this movie. I watched the 1st movie in 2019 at my parents' home and I was a little bit mixed. I loved the characters, especially Miles and I liked the storyline but I was not used to this type of animation. So it was a first for me. Anyway, I ADORED the 2nd movie because FIRST OF ALL of Miles (I love this cutiepie !!!), and .... TADAM because of Miguel O'Hara too (am I thirsty for this angry man ? Yes ! Like everyone else ? Of course yes ! I love this man even though I do believe in Miles and I do not accept what Miguel did to Miles... like seriously) AND BECAUSE OF THE FREAKING STORYLINE AND ANIMATION !!There are also other characters that I found endearing : one of them is Gwen. When I watched the movie alone, I was mad at her despite liking her still. When I went to watch the movie another time with my mother, I was able to see more detail and to see her perspective. Let's just hope that we will be able to watch the conclusion of this awesome movie soon ! I had fun to edit this small video. I struggled a little bit with the colouring. Wanted to have a "Film look" colouring. Yet, I am not totally satisfied with it. But the one that I chose fits the video I guess. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I discovered this song thanks to a Kacchako MMV (I was looking for inspiration for my own KatsuDeku MMV) and I was totally astonished by this amazing MMV (check it out !). This was the part I edited for the short collab I did at that time with Tanja. I remember we both said that the ships we edited with were not our OTPs... turns out that they were, haha ! I love the outcome of the collab, and my part that as well because I was and am still totally satisfied with the flow and the clips of the vid. There was also a story in my mind : a soulmate plot. However, I don't have the exact storyline with me anymore. I dunno if I still have it on my other laptop by the way. Yet, the plot centers on KatsuDeku (no kidding!) : Deku is Katsuki's soulmate but the blonde does not want to accept him due to the fact that Deku is quirkless. However, when they become teenagers, a mark starts to appear in the palm of their hands (that's why I'm showing Deku looking at his hand). And they live a lot of adventures before Katsuki finally accepts his feelings and stop hurting his poor soulmate. In the final collab, you will see my part with a colouring and some texts. The problem is that I don't remember if I put it myself or it was Tanja's doing. Anyway, just know that in the collab, the part is more colourful and more beautiful (because the typos) (Kinda like this colouring).

I only know “KatsuDeku’s love academia”♥ … Joking! (not really)So, remember when I told you that I had several KatsuDeku projects going on (I’m not counting the ones that I started on my other laptop or else, there will be more … LOL). This one … was not one of them! This project was born two days ago. I absolutely do not know where this idea came from. I was listening to my KatsuDeku playlist because I was in a good mood. Since I’m in holidays for 2 weeks, I decided to continue some of my OTP projects, but then I listened to this song. Recently, I’ve been dying to use new concepts in my videos, that is to say, torn papers, new fonts and the 80s look. This song is definitely not from my generation but rather from my parents’ one. I grew up with their movies, their music styles because they watched and listened to them a lot when I was younger. This song belongs to one of my parents’ favourite movies. I wonder what would be their reaction if they knew that I used it for my gay OTP xD When I edited this AMV, I wanted to recreate the look and atmosphere that you can see in the 80s animes. I got inspired by the shoujo ones obviously because of the pink tint in the colouring. I have to say that despite being a shounen, BNHA has some shoujo scenes and I am not even talking about the KatsuDeku ones. I’m insisting more on the clips that I picked in the introduction with the Sakura petals for example. I guess what I wanted to display throughout this whole vid was the progression of Katsuki and Deku’s dynamic or bond. During the break, I wanted to show their dork sides because seriously… they share many (hungry) angry stares but they are so silly together. I also think that the voices add another funny and light-hearted atmosphere to the song and to the editing. ♥ Small anecdotes: I changed the title of this video three times. First, it was “angry eyes”, then “Dorks staring at each other with angry eyes” and the one that you can read now. So I guess that my first and last video of the year will not be a KatsuDeku video. But I do not mind as it is still featuring a gay ship (I only live for my gays... ). Speaking about KatsuDeku videos, I had a lot of ongoing projects on my other laptop. However, I do not know if I will be able to finish them because I cannot open SV anymore on my old laptop. I scheduled this video so that it will be uploaded on the 31st of December. So I wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR !! . . . . . . . . . . . Wow... many events happened in my life during the past few years so I am not even sure what I should write, except that it feels good to edit a new video (which is not related to KatsuDeku ! So surprising I know !). I've left my home and my family because of my work. I had to adapt to a new lifestyle. It was really difficult for me. And since I was mainly focused on my work, I also decided to leave my old laptop on which I used to edit with SV at my previous home. So when I came back to my homeland during holidays, I tried to open SV but it was not working anymore (dunno why). Thus, I decided to install a "new" SV on my computer that I mostly use for working, because I felt the urge to edit again (thanks to my KatsuDeku feelings, like always haha). 2 years ago, I decided to watch this lovely anime and I was so deeply immersed in this pairing. So yesterday night, I edited this short video for 3 hours because it is really easy to cut and mix clips of this anime. I love the graphics, the story and the characters. I had the time of my life while editing this video. My main inspiration was : youtube.com/watch?v=r7AnM-iEITcGo check them out. Among all the studios I've been in, I think it is the only one which is still uploading MEPs. Most of the studios that I belonged to or followed have closed and I understand the decision of the leaders. It is already awesome that these studios were still open until now! I felt a wave of nostalgia crashing over me when I realised how time had passed by ! I still remember when I was talking to my editor friends all night (because at that time, we had different time zones) or all day. We shared softwares, ideas and created various MEPs together. I cannot say how long I will keep editing. Every year, I always tell myself that I will "retire" definitively. But here I am, still making videos because it is fun and because, I do not feel any pressure like before : meeting deadlines, trying to find innovative ideas or effects, etc. I just have the blast of my life playing with SV, with the animes that I love, using my creativity freely, trying new effects or new colorings. It feels exhilarating. I do not know if I will upload other videos in 2024 (my real life is so hectic right now but I so adore it !).I have other projects that I've started on my work laptop (mainly KatsuDeku that I am impatient to share with you) that I really want to finish before saying "goodbye" forever. I will just like to tell you that I will always cherish every moment that I've spent on Youtube. I have seen this platform change, seen some of my online friends growing from teenagers to adults just like me. I have chatted with people from different nationalities while we were forming just one editing community. I have seen people improving and trying to find themselves at the same time. It was one hell of an adventure and all this experience is still useful to me. Thanks to all editors all around the world for all your hardwork and for expressing your passions through your videos. For the people who are still around, keep up the good work ! You are amazing just the way you are (don't even doubt about this fact). If you want to keep editing, do it. If you want to "retire", do it ! Just remember you were there, that you did a VERY great job and that all these memories will always be in your mind ! AND ... But to be honest, this MEP part is special to me : 1) Because it is really my "FIRST" time to animate mangas. I tried to do it in the past and I couldn't do it properly, or I could only animate the mouth and the eyes. But they were horrible. So here you are. I have to say that I'm kinda proud of myself because I worked on this MEP, struggling a lot because my AE was slow or crashing. And because my laptop was so slow too because of PS. But after, my love for them became bigger, and I'm still obsessed with them. I cannot tell you how much I love them at the moment. I know that some people don't really like them because of Katsuki's behaviour (which I totally disagree with). But he's growing up, and I like it. But now, after thinking about their past and because he became more mature, he finally accepted his feelings for Izuku, and decided to confess even though he feels guilty for what he did to his precious Deku in the past. He is also sure that Deku would not forgive him. But to this surprise, Izuku tells him that he loves him too, and he has been in love with him since they were children. And also, because I wanted to do something that I could be proud of. This video is full, plenty of mistakes. But it's too late to change them because my laptop is super slow and my SV would take too much time to render it again. So sorry for the mistakes that you will find D: Especially at the end, with the ugly animation (at least I tried to do it haha xD). ► I seriously do not know what to say about Yuri on Ice and especially about Viktuuri. I still don't know if they are one of my OTPs yet, but what I can say about them, it's that I love them a lot! Seriously, before doing this video, the only moment when I had my biggest fun at editing was when I edited with KnB only. Moreover, from the moment I saw the trailer of YOI, I already knew that I would like it. And then, because of these gays, their development, the change in their relationship, I couldn't stop watching and falling in love with YOI, and especially with Yuuri and Viktor. Like the opening told us : they were "born to make history". That's what they did during the night between the 16th and the 17th of November. They changed my life. I cannot even explain it. I have so many feelings concerning this ship. I'm fascinated, captivated by them, by their behaviour, by their hugs, ... and their kiss! I don't even speak about their kiss! I remember how I squealed, screamed when I saw this scene. I was satisfied, because Viktuuri is CANON, guys. Aomine doesn't know how to show his love to Kise, but when this one has a sort of breakdown in front of him, he feels extremely guilty and apologises to his little sunshine. I watched Boku no Hero Academia and I fell in love with it. I insanely watched the whole season in less than 1 day, because it was truly AMAZING. I love most of the characters: Izuku (my cutiepie), Katsuki (even if he's a jerk), Aizawa-sensei (I thought that I would dislike him but I so like himmm), and even more. They are so deep. The OST hits you hard as if a million of people had thrown a lot of stones at you. So I couldn't resist in doing a video with this anime. I had fun while editing with this anime and this song that I love so much *w* And this pairing... It's a weird pairing regarding the complicated relationship that these two have. And I know about their past and I do not agree and tolerate Kacchan's behaviour. But he is an interesting, hot, handsome character who will grow I'm sure of it. And Izuku... .... I just wanted and needed to edit with Dazai. Because seriously, I watched the last episode of Stray Dogs, and I was overwhelmed by the desire to edit with it. However, I wasn't inspired with the other song, so I decided to change. And, I ended up editing only with Dazai. So this video is slightly different from what I always do. But then, I missed the season 2 (I only watched few episodes of it), so I gave up watching the rest of it. But recently, I was such in a Batman mood that it was hard to resist Young Justice call. I know that it is not only about Batman. But seriously, it was so great to go back to see these heroes, even though they are teenagers. My heart is totally overwhelmed by Dick Grayson (Robin/Nightwing). He is soo great and so funny, and so marvelous. I love him so much. I can't resist him. But also, I like Wally and Roy (the clone) sooo much too. They were my 3 favorite in this cartoon. And I don't even speak about Artemis. I so love her. And actually, now, I kinda like everyone, especially Superboy. And I had a great surprise, because the plot is interesting, and the characters are also interesting, and amazing, especially Michael, who is the "main character" of this video. I have become obsessed with him, because of his past and his complex personality. In this video, I tried to show the deep relationship that he had with Becca, and Alex. And oh gosh, it was AMAZING. I wanted to watch it at the cinema, but I couldn't since I had too many exams to pass at that moment. And with the uni, I never got the time to enjoy this movie and to watch it until now. Seriously, I don't regret watching it. At first, I thought that it was going to be a movie that I would simply like and that's all. But no, I became slightly obsessioned with it when I watched it. The themes are so angst, dark and so deep. It's a really enjoyable movie which recreates the myth of the vampire Dracula. It's so great and so original to see what they did with the original legend 8D Plus, I particularly love the couple formed by Vlad and Mirena, and the father/son relationship between Vlad and his son.
