35 meter pov rock climb in guilin, china (桂林攀岩) Das Chala 2020-09-20 | My girlfriend at the time lent me her GoPro so I got some footage of me doing this long climb. I'm not used to wearing a GoPro while climbing so I grind it on the rocks a couple times on accident :/ climb is rated 10b last time i checked. hardest moves are at the beginning and then the moves to the last bolt and then to the anchors where it gets more overhung. everything else is fun juggy cruisy just slightly overhung or vertical faceclimbing below the grade. this is in guilin proper, not yangshuo. lotta new, well-bolted sport crags in guilin, if you're looking for a change from yangshuo, there are some legit classics here and they aren't crowded or polished. i can at least vouch for the stuff in the 5.8 - 5.11b/c range, and there is some crazy 5.12 roof stuff at one of the crags. lotta the crags have something for everyone in the intermediate range, from 5.8 all the way to 5.13All the music in this video is original and made by my brother and I.
