On the beautiful island of Sicily people speak Italian but also the related language of Sicilian, which has a bunch of sub-dialects, and so I tried learning the Palermitan dialect which is spoken in the city of Palermo, and then I went to Palermo to try it out on the locals and because most people here speak this language only with family and friends and not in public they were quite surprised to see me speaking. On the beautiful island of Sicily people speak Italian but also the related language of Sicilian, which has a bunch of sub-dialects, and so I tried learning the Palermitan dialect which is spoken in the city of Palermo, and then I went to Palermo to try it out on the locals and because most people here speak this language only with family and friends and not in public they were quite surprised to see me speaking. On the beautiful island of Sicily people speak Italian but also the related language of Sicilian, which has a bunch of sub-dialects, and so I tried learning the Palermitan dialect which is spoken in the city of Palermo, and then I went to Palermo to try it out on the locals and because most people here speak this language only with family and friends and not in public they were quite surprised to see me speaking.
