It looks that the termination points have flashed over between the phases. The normal running winding was open circuit hence it was not fully useful anymore.I tried to friction overload the armature which wasn't too success full, then with the Rodalco clamp I got it sorted, although the thermal overload ? or something else caused this weird impulsing start stop behaviour.
