It seems to me at the end when they start singing and the line about sleeping eternally means that Len and Rin used their singing (maybe enhanced by Miku's spell) to force the dragon to sleep, which in turn also means Len and Rin will have to stay asleep as well and be the spell that binds the dragon. This way it ends with Len and Rin finally reuniting and staying together forever (Len's wish) as well as protecting everyone from the dragon (Rin's wish). That's how I see it anyways.

With Vocaloids, the "author" of the song/pv can DECIDE what kind of relationship Len and Rin have with each other. Nothing is canon, they are not canonly twins, they are not canonly not-twins, okay? Some songs have them as siblings, some songs do not have them as siblings, okay? This is all perfectly okay and totally normal for all Len and Rin songs, no for ALL VOCALOID SONGS. In this specific song, all of the hints point towards Rin and Len being siblings/twins or at least related (maybe cousins). They "know" they aren't supposed to be together, the other classmates "know" they shouldn't be together, because guess what? Incest is taboo in a whole heck of a lot of cultures, including ours. It's seen as wrong and that's why they know they shouldn't be together and why Len forces himself to separate himself from Rin. By the end they're just like, "you know what, fuck it" literally. They don't care anymore what anyone thinks because they are in love with each other. This song doesn't make a lot of sense if we take out the "forbidden" part of incest. If you don't like incest, you can distance them a bit further as cousins, where sometimes it is acceptable to marry your cousin (though more like second cousin and not first). I personally see them as being twins in this one, that grew up very close and ended up falling in love. Sure, you can dispute this, but really, I have watched this video a lot, I've subtitled it twice, I promise you I know where I'm coming from. Really the most telling facts are what the other students said. If Len and Rin weren't twins/siblings/cousins why would they care if they were too close? Why would it be risky? If they were just friends and not related in anyway that wouldn't make any sense. There wouldn't be anything suspicious about friends being close and flirting with each other and falling in love, unlike if they were related. I like the twins/siblings better than cousins because I think it really adds more risk to the situation and since they look so alike anyway. This is not made by Mothy, the creator of the Story of Evil series, this is created by Shuujin-P who has this series called the Prisoner Series. Although Chivalry is not listed as part of the series, another vocaloid translator I was working with found information that it was part of the series, but is not directly connected to the story being told with it. So it's kind of like a side story. At the moment I don't have the link anymore where this information was at, though I'm still looking around for it. I really apologize, I still have a long way to go with my Japanese, I'm trying my best. And I know many of you are asking "Well it says there is a sequel at the end of the video so where is it?????" I don't think there is supposed to be a sequel. The words at the end "It's likely to be talked about with another story" might be referencing more in the universe of this vocaloid song. Where the people might retell the story of their fallen country differently than how this song tells it. Basically the truth verses history. All in all it is very vague. If there is ever a sequel I promise I'll put up a link. I'd like a sequel as much as the next person, believe me!I know many of you will still look at this and be like "Oh! That means that this one is the retelling of the Story of Evil!" or "It's so close to Story of Evil, it should be an alternate version!" Really you are generalizing this video very much to make it fit into the Story of Evil universe. Yes, Rin is the ruler, yes, technically, Len is a "servant" to Rin (more of a knight obviously), yes, Rin is supposed to be executed and Len prevents that. But we are obviously avoiding other characteristics of this video that make it it's own story. Rin's character is completely different from Story of Evil Rin. Is she the tyrant that her whole country is rebelling against? Obviously not, she's a beloved ruler that will do anything to protect her country from a situation she probably did not cause. There is also Len, who is directly confronting people instead of tricking everyone to save Rin. The relationship between them is also different where in Story of Evil, they are siblings who were separated for an amount of time, in Chivalry, they are not siblings and get to grow up together (there is not solid proof they aren't siblings but I doubt a prince would be allowed to be a common soldier or not also be a part of the execution/punishment). I also get the feeling their relationship is more romantic in Chivalry. Bottom line for both Story of Evil and Chivalry is Len and Rin's devotion to each other. And another difference is the fact that Len and Rin both actually make it out of the video alive. If they were really trying to be an alternate version, it would be a lot closer to the original story and probably would've included the other important characters in Story of Evil like Kaito, Meiko, and Miku and no just briefly showing their faces in Chivalry only tells us that Len knew them. I could go on but youtube is telling me my description is too long.The bottom line is, Shuujin-P obviously was not trying to make this related to Story of Evil, no matter how many similarities you would like to pull from the video. If you've managed to read this far you might be asking, "Why do you even care? Just don't read the comments!" And yeah you're right, why should I care? It's just that I'm also an artist and a writer and if I was getting comments saying "This is just like Story of Evil!" I would feel awful. No artist/writer wants to hear that. You're basically saying "This video that you worked so hard on, isn't original enough." I just want Chivalry to be seen for itself, not in relation to Story of Evil. There are so many other things we could be discussing. This probably isn't making much sense. I just really get passionate about Vocaloid and all of the incredible people putting their efforts to bring us amazing songs. I just want everyone to get the credit they deserve.If you did read all of that, thank you. I greatly appreciate it.
