After a heavy snowfall the more rigid branches
of the pine break under the weight of the snow
but the more supple willow branches bend
thus allowing the snow to fall to the ground

I've known of this song for some time. I remember Marilyn Middleton Pollock (now Marilyn Mellor) singing it in Chester folk festival about five years ago. Jerry Spurlock wrote it.. After some research I found a site where he sings this song playing an autoharp, absolutely brilliant.. hope he doesn't mind me doing a version of it. I've always wanted to travel to the stars.. can't take the moon from the man.
