Luxury Flea Market from disappointment to happy ending | LV, Gucci, Valentino & many more brands

LuMi LevelUp 2025-06-01 | I visited the big flea market in Nuremberg, that takes place twice a year and vlogged a little bit for you. At that flea market I hunted for luxury designer bargains and vlogged my thrifting. This time I even spotted an Hermes Evelyn bag at the flea market - unfortunately it was not authentic. I love to go preloved bargain hunting at flea markets and I alway watch out for designer brands. I was successful with finding Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Valentino. Of course there is always a risk, when buying on flea markets and unfortunately not all sellers are trustworthy - but I'm quite sure I managed to spot some authentic preloved gems for you. As a luxury lover on an average income, I always look for ways to enjoy high-end fashion and luxury designer bags while being mindful of my spending. One year ago, I started renting designer handbags as an alternative to buying them—and while I loved the experience at first, I’ve decided to stop bag rentals (at least for now).
So, why did I quit?
After 12 months of trying different luxury brands and styles, I realized that bag rental isn’t for me long-term. Here’s why:

✔️ My own collection was being neglected – I wasn’t using my own bags enough!
✔️ The cost added up – Even at €79/month, a year’s rental could buy a nice designer bag.
✔️ The subscription model wasn’t ideal – I couldn’t control the timing of bag deliveries.
✔️ Pressure to wear and review bags – It started feeling like an obligation rather than fun.
✔️ YouTube performance – The rental review videos didn’t perform as well as I expected.
✔️ Felt like an ad – With my discount code, I didn’t want it to seem like I was pushing sales.
✔️ Travel conflicts – Vacation timing made returning and receiving bags difficult.
✔️ Stressful filming deadlines – I had to rush reviews before sending the bags back.

While bag rental is a great option for some, I’ve realized that it no longer fits my lifestyle. Will I go back to renting in the future? Maybe! But for now, I’m focusing on loving my own collection more and being even more mindful with my purchases.
