I WAS RIGHT! I knew the moment Grace died that it couldn't be final. That she had to come back in the series finale. The story wouldn't be right without her and Ben ending up together. So when Ben exited the Glow in 4x20 into the airport, I started sobbing uncontrollably, and even more so when the camera shifted to reveal Grace. Their reunion was everything I dreamed for them, and I couldn't be happier with it! Josh and Athena knocked it out of the park! And I love all the little parallels the writers managed to sneak in there. I'm eternally grateful that their love story ended so beautifully.

WHAT A PHENOMENAL ENDING! I truly can't praise Manifest's final season enough! I'm so happy with how everything ended up and where the story landed for these characters. Zeke and Michaela's new meet cute was ADORABLE and so fitting with how down for each other they've always been! Of course Michaela would act crazy about him by immediately calling him her husband and saying she has a lot to tell him, and of course he'd be into that right away! Also, can we talk about all the insane epic layers this season added to their story???? Michaela being the one to tell him to find her and essentially give him (AND HER) that Calling was truly mindblowing, and a dream come true for me! I also joked with friends years ago about how funny and beautiful it would be if we learned down the line that Zekaela had a whole bunch of almost meetings when they were younger, but not even in my wildest dreams did I think the show would confirm that. I truly have no notes on their beautiful love story! This is one for the ages!

I chose this song for them when I heard it even before 4A dropped, and I'm really glad I saved it for the series finale, because it only became even more perfect for them during this final season! The lyrics are insanely perfect for them now, and I hope that when you watch it, you'll feel I did the song and Zekaela's story justice. This is only the first of many Manifest vids I still wanna make, so keep your fingers crossed that I'll have enough free time to make them all. But no matter how long it'll take me, just know that I'll always keep vidding this show, and especially these two soulmates ❤️

Isa Agape is a composer and long time fan of Manifest and Zekaela, and when I heard Guilt, which she released in November, I just knew I had to vid it. Back to the video: with this character study, I wanted to explore everything in Zeke's arc that led up to his big sacrifice in 4x10. All the guilt he felt, the amends he tried to make, the low self esteem, and ultimately the love he became surrounded with and felt for the people around him. The Manifest writers managed to create such a complex and incredibly well written arc for Zeke, and Matt Long elevated that amazing writing even further with his phenomenal acting talent, so all I can hope for is that this video does all of that work a little justice. I can't wait to see how Zeke's story will end in 4B, because I have no doubt that 4x10 wasn't the end of his story.

Alex & Saanvi | Waiting Room

Ilovehertjes 2023-03-26 | You ever just get so emotional about Alexvi that you end up making an almost 5 minute long vid about them in two days? No? Just me?

I told myself that I would focus on my second Malina vid until it was done, but clearly I failed. But I'm glad I did, because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to put all my Alexvi feelings and thoughts into this vid. I really feel like I managed to capture almost all of their story in here, with only very few clips/quotes left out. They are just so beautifully tragic, yet criminally underappreciated in the fandom, which is largely because I feel most people just don't understand what their story actually is. So that's what I tried to show in this vid: the depth and complexity of their story and their love for each other. While I left it on a bit of a sad note, I wanted to include Saanvi's quote about finding her person at the end because I feel certain that Alex is her person and that she'll be certain of that in 4B.

My babies are back, and better than ever!! I still can't believe how much season 2 gave them. All the kisses? All the love and angst? THE BOOK QUOTES? They truly went off! I absolutely loved the season, so of course I immediately had to go and vid these two. I knew going into the season that we would get Mal's death and revival, so it was only logical that I would vid them to this iconic song for ships that come back from the dead for each other. There's another Malina project that I really wanna finish soon, which is very dear to me, so hopefully it won't be too long until you see another Malina vid from me. It's a project I've been working on since S1, but I wanna redo it to fit this season and explore their journey more in depth than I did in this video. This Gracen video was a long time coming. It's still not really the kind of epic tribute I wanna make for them one day, but I at least got some of my heartbreak out that I've been feeling since 3x13 aired. I wanted to wait until we got to see Ben's reaction to her death before vidding them, and boy did that break me. Grace really is everything to him, and it was heartbreaking to see him to lost and broken. Here's hoping that my personal Manifest ending theory is correct and that he'll be reunited with his soulmate in the series finale. But for now, I just wanna give a huge shout out to Josh Dallas' INCREDIBLE performance in 4A! Every scene involving Grace absolutely destroyed me.

Arthur & Gwen | Secret Love Song

Ilovehertjes 2022-12-24 | Happy 10 year anniversary to the series finale the ruined Christmas for millions of people!

Can you believe it's been 10 years? 10 FREAKING YEARS? I can hardly believe I've been a fan of this show for that long. And yet, my love for it has never faded. It still remains one of my favourite shows. And it's incredible to see how alive the fandom still is too. I'm especially glad that the vidding community keeps it alive. You don't see that kind of passion with a lot of new shows anymore.

This summer, I visited Camelot for the first time. Or rather, Pierrefonds Castle in France. It was an incredible experience, and while reliving some of my favourite scenes, I knew that I had to make something for the upcoming 10 year anniversary. I did consider doing a general tribute, but I couldn't think of a song that really worked for me, and I was worried of not doing the show justice in general. So when I came across this song, I knew I had to go to my roots as a M vidder and pay tribute to one of my biggest ships instead. I don't care how underrated they are in the fandom, they'll always be an epic love story to me. I focused on the "forbidden" aspect of their love story in this vid, which is why I mostly excluded S5. Ironic, given today's anniversary, but at least it saved me from reliving that painful finale.

Manifest Couples | The only one Ill ever love

This vid has been a long time coming! I initially started this during S3, but ultimately felt the season didn't really give me enough content for my ships to finish this. Bumper In Berlin's first season only has six episodes, but boy does it know how to create a beautiful romance with the time it has! I loved how Bumper and Heidi inspired each other to become the best versions of themselves, and how similar they are in their interests. They are truly made for each other. And of course, Adam and Sarah's chemistry is still as magical as it was on Modern Family! I'm forever grateful that they didn't let it go to waste after MF ended and that we get to witness them on screen together once more. Zeke & Michaela | Please dont leave me [+4x10]

Ilovehertjes 2022-11-09 | I don't even know how to start this description. This first half of the final season was everything I hoped for when I campaigned endlessly to give this show its proper closure. But it also completely shattered me. That final episode broke me and left me in tears. As you all probably know by now, these two are everything to me. No matter how much I love my other ships, none of them will ever be as epic as Zekaela. Their love story is on a whole other level, no matter if they get their happy ending or not. Their love was written in the stars, and no one could've made them as happy as they made each other. That will always remain true. I hope to god that the show brings Zeke back in the end, but even if they don't, these two will always have my heart as the most beautiful couple I've ever found in fiction.

I also wanna sing some praises for Matt and Melissa, because their performances this season were absolutely mindblowing! They made me cry several times, and their chemistry was simply magical, as always! I'm so grateful they were cast to bring these two characters to life.

While I still find it hard to find the time to vid, this first half of S4 brought my love for Manifest back in full force, so I'm hoping to at least vid it a few more times before 4B drops. And I also have a few other vids planned inbetween the Manifest ones, so keep your fingers crossed I can make the time for them all.

Zuko | Broken Crown

Ilovehertjes 2022-02-20 | As embarassing as I find it to admit this, I'm still making my way through my VU vidlets. This is the 13th, and I was stuck on this one a loooong time. Zuko has such an incredible character arc and I really wanted to do him justice, but how would I do that in 1:30 mins? I had a large part of this already laid out, but it wasn't until this Friday that inspiration truly struck me and I was able to finish this in almost one sitting. I'm quite happy with the result, and I hope I was able to do him some justice.

EJ Caswell | Get It Right

Ilovehertjes 2021-11-22 | This video wasn't planned. At all. My plan was to first finish an HSMTMTS multicouples vid, then a Gina vid, and then an EJ vid. Not to mention all the non-HSMTMTS vids that I'm prioritising. In fact, before Bea brought up this song for EJ this Saturday evening, I hadn't even thought of this song for him. But as soon as she put that thought into my head, I couldn't let it go. The idea was to just start the project on Sunday and put a few clips in it, but I ended up finishing this whole vid in a few hours. I guess that's what having a new favourite character will do to me.

If you follow me on Tumblr, you already know how much I love EJ's arc. This entire show is incredibly well written, but there's just something about EJ's arc that resonates with me so deeply. I love how he's always striving to be better and more authentic, and that even if he doesn't get it right the first time, he never stops trying. His developing interest in filmmaking is also something that's so deeply personal to me, and I love how he's using that to connect more deeply to the people around him. Because at the end of the day, the most important lesson he learned is that happiness is about other people. He's just such a beautiful and well written character, and I couldn't be more grateful to the writers and Matt Cornett for bringing him to life.

It feels so weird that I barely vidded Zekaela this season. And it wasn't even because of the content we were getting. I was so busy with my graduation film that vidding fell to the side. And then Grace died and I had to vid her, and then N.B.C. made my worst fears come through and I threw myself into campaigning to save this show. But the stars finally aligned and gave me the perfect reason to vid these two, so here we are! I went into this vid meaning to focus a bit more on Zeke's perspective, but Mick's fear of losing him just kept creeping in. I fully meant to include "We should talk", but well.... things got away from me. Still, I hope this did Zeke's insecurities in S3 a little justice, alongside their story as a whole. And mark my words: you will see more Zekaela vids from me with new content in the future! I just know N.etflix will be smart enough to save this show.

Ilovehertjes 2021-08-13 | I have absolutely no excuses for this vid other than that I'm super obsessed with them and I couldn't stop myself from making this when I thought of them with this song. By now you should all know that there's no stopping me from vidding my ship of two people who are each other's second chance at love (or the person who shows them what real love is) and who are helped out by the universe along the way. Plus, this song is just so freaking perfect for them. It fits their whole storyline so well. They've finally stepped into the daylight, let go of their past heartbreak, and have found true happiness in each other.

Btw, I wanted to mention that I'm not pretending that Gina's line about Carlos ("I always know where I stand with him, which is more than I can say for most boys at this school.") is about EJ in context. I used it here to show both her issues with Ricky (him not telling her where they stood, especially after he stopped having romantic feelings for her) and how meaningful it was when EJ did clarify where they stood by asking Gina out on a date.

EJ & Gina | Someone To You

Ilovehertjes 2021-07-31 | I saw potential for Portwell in 1x10 when we found out EJ bought Gina's plane ticket, but I didn't expect these two to work their way into my heart the way they did this season. They quickly made it onto my list of OTPs, as well as my list of favourite characters. Their journey has been so well written and such a pleasure to watch, and I'm so proud of how far they've come! But more than that, I'm so happy to finally see these two be truly happy! They so deserved this second chance at finding true love.

In case the intro is a bit unclear: I was going for the idea that these two started out with this image of what they wanted, but Ashlyn's words about it being good for EJ to not get what he wanted ended up being true for both EJ and Gina. And in the end they something much better, all through working together.

On a more general note: long time no see! I'm been so busy with the #SaveManifest campaign that I've had almost no time for vidding. But I've been so obsessed with these two that I just had to get those feelings out, so I've been working on this vid for a few hours here and there over the last few weeks. Manifest | Lights will guide you home

Ilovehertjes 2021-03-25 | Happy one week until season 3 starts! I've been working on this vid on and off for a while now and my current Manifest rewatch gave me such a burst of inspiration that I ended up finishing it yesterday. It felt fitting to upload it today to celebrate the start of season 3 next week. I can't wait to see what next season has in store for us!

I mostly went with the lyrics in this vid, with a focus on how the Callings are guiding the returned and helping them find true happiness. I did my best to focus on all the characters more or less equally, but as always I struggled to include Jared. Once he starts finding his happiness too I'm sure it'll be easier for me to include him in my vids in a larger capacity, but until then I'll probably keep struggling to add him a lot to Callings focussed vids. Sorry about that. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this vid regardless! I'm pretty busy with uni atm and that'll still be the case for a while, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to finish a few Manifest and VU vids here and there the coming weeks.

Michaela Stone | All Good Things

Ilovehertjes 2021-02-01 | Happy Manifest Monday! And more important, happy Michaela Stone Appreciation Week! Alyssa (@Manifesters_ on twitter) and I came up with the idea to organise appreciation weeks for all Manifest characters and ships while we wait for season 3. The first week celebrates our amazing leading lady, so it felt only appropriate that I finished this video in time to start a week all about her! I've been working on this vid on and off for months. I started it around the same time I started my Zeke vid, but I struggled a lot more with this one since Mick's arc is so deep and layered. It's so much more than which man she wants to be with, despite what the fandom may lead you to believe. She has been through so much but is still so compassionate and has grown so immensely! That's why she's one of my favourite characters of all time.

In order to do her arc justice, I decided to divide this character study into four secions, using three different songs. The title of the first song is Cold, which was fitting for the losses Michaela suffered due to Flight 828 and the trauma she experienced even before the plane disappeared. The second song, Dreams and Visions, focusses on how the Callings gave her new purpose in life and slowly helped her heal from her trauma and losses. True Love's Last Kiss, the third song, was fitting for Michaela's crisis of faith and her continued fight to save the people she loves. And in the end I used Dreams and Visions again, as it is the Callings who renewed Michaela's faith and helped her find the happiness she deserves. They are the reason she believe in all good things again.

I hope this all makes sense and was easy to see in the video. And most of all, I hope I did Michaela justice. She means so much to me and I really wanted to show just how much I love and appreciate her in this character study. Fingers crossed we'll see her again soon!

Hopefully Max can continue to support her through that, and maybe by the end of the season they'll be able to pick up where they left off.

I finished this vid a while ago but I was saving it, and today seemed like the right day to upload it, given that they start filming Manifest season 3 today! I can't wait to see more of these two cuties next season! Here's hoping TJ comes back from Egypt relatively soon in the season.

I'm so happy that I finally managed to vid all my Manifest ships at least once!
