I'm using the old XGEdit graphical interface as a control panel for the abandoned Yamaha SYXG-50 (similar to MU50/MU80 rompler). I have SYXG50 in SAVIHost, with the MIDI input there set for LoopMIDI and the keyboard controller signal goes to the XGEdit software with that output going to LoopMIDI. And you can access all the XG sounds and various controls. Very useful for conventional instrument stuff.
