I think at this point I'm capable of coming up with much better ideas than this one, which is about 11 years old I believe lolOriginally this was meant to be completed for my 2021 set, when I was seriously considering quitting videos. Back then the concept for the guitar solo section was that it going to consist of a slideshow of many of my older videos, with a sample from the Snow White dwarves being used to handle the melody, and it would be a sort of sendoff to my channel/career/whatever you want to call it lol. But when I actually started going through and creating that section a sadness kinda just welled up within me, and it hit me like a truck that I didn't have any reason to let go of a hobby that brought me joy and allowed me to express myself in a community full of long-time friends and peers. So I refused to work on it until I felt like it was time, and now I've repurposed it into something more celebratory. THE BEST 9 DukeOnkledNukem 2022-05-05 | So this is the conclusion of THE BEST saga with its 9th and final entry, it's been just a bit over 12 years now. I initially meant to finish it in time for the actual 12th anniversary of the series, which was Feb 15th, but my life has had a string of events lately that has left me somewhat checked out of a lot of things. Perhaps the most important of these events is that one of Matty's owners very recently passed away from an incurable condition. To keep things fairly brief for the sake of privacy, there is comfort knowing that there is closure on something that you knew was inevitable, but I wish it could have been on better terms. That being said, I think it's appropriate that I bring closure to this joke video series in turn. This is definitely the longest-running bit I've ever done, maybe it's time to start a different one lol. In the meantime to touch on my channel for a little bit, I certainly haven't quit making videos or anything like that, though motivation has been a bit of an uphill battle. There was actually a little more that I wanted to add such as extra parts for the harmonies in certain empty-ish sections, but time was a pretty big factor so I figured it would be fine, I'm just glad everyone who watched it on the Funny Rave stream loved it lmao.
