We can either reduce our worldly possessions to a bare minimum or we can leave our children with the burden to spend a few months sifting through our worthless junk to determine what can be donated and what should just be thrown away. We Walked on Glass in Bermuda; Transatlantic Cruise Day 13 WITY TRAVELS 2024-09-18 | In this video we give our first impressions of Bermuda (Day 13). Bermuda, historically known as the Bermudas or Somers Isles, is a British Overseas Territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. The closest land outside the territory is in the American state of North Carolina, about 1,035 km (643 mi) to the west-northwest.We went to the Sea Glass Beach where we found well-worn pieces of glass in pastels of green, turquoise, and blue. Although most of the glass comes from human sources, some of the pieces of sea glass that have ended up on Bermuda’s shores are remnants of the island’s nautical history, including the island’s bleak past as the site of many shipwrecks. We had lunch at Woody's where we really enjoyed the famous fish sandwich. This sandwich features fried fresh local fish on raisin bread dressed with coleslaw, cheese, tartar sauce, and hot sauce. It's delicious and you won't find this combo anywhere else.This is all happening during our Transatlantic cruise onboard Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas. So be prepared.Bratislava is very safe and a great spot for sightseeing. We enjoyed our day trip, from where we were staying for the month; Vienna Austria.
