Parsley Root Fries RecipeIngredients• 3 large parsley roots, peeled and sliced into thin sticks• 3 tablespoons olive oil (or more as needed)• 1 tablespoon garlic powder ( or more, I usually put 2-3, because I like it extra garlicky) haha• salt and pepper to tasteDirections1. This is how I make my kale chips:Ingredients:- 1 bunch of kale- Olive oil- Sesame Seeds - Salt and Pepper to tasteDirections:1. Preheat oven 400 F (Broil) 2. Wash kale, remove the inner stem and tear it into chip-size pieces.3. Dry the kale thoroughly with a paper towel or a salad spinner. 4. In a large bowl, toss kale with olive oil, salt, pepper and sesame seeds. 5. Arrange kale in a single layer on a baking sheet and broil for 5-10 minutes or until the kale is crisp and slightly browned. Delicious and Healthy Banana Bread EverythingLuxy 2013-02-01 | Healthy Gluten/Sugar/Dairy Free Banana Bread 1 ½ cups of almond flour ( can be found at Whole Foods or most other health food stores or you can make your own almond flour. Google for more directions:) )½ cup of coconut flour ( can be found at Whole Foods or most other health food stores or you can make your own coconut flour, google for more directions )1 ½ teaspoon baking soda½ of sea salt4 tablespoons of olive oil6 eggs4 ripe bananas ( the riper the bananas, the sweeter your banana bread will be) 1 cup of chopped walnuts Directions 1. Preheat your oven to 350 F /175 C2. Mix all dry ingredients together with a spoon3. Mix all wet ingredients with a fork until nice and smooth.4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients5. Mix the dry and wet ingredients well until smooth.6. Add chopped walnuts and mix well.7. Pour the mixture into a bread baking pan lined with a parchment paper brushed with olive oil.8. Look at yourself in the mirror and assess whether your legs are longer than your torso or your torso is longer than your legs and dress accordingly. Gentle Barn Visit in California EverythingLuxy 2012-07-02 | As an animal lover I had always wanted to visit a place like Gentle Barn, where I could actually touch and hug the animals. I wanted to visit a place where the animals are treated with love and respect and not kept in a cage ( like in a zoo for example). Naturally when I heard of Gentle Barn right before our trip to California, I just knew we had to visit it. Leyla is also a huge animal lover, so I wanted to surprise her, so me and Alex secretly planned a private tour at the gentle. ( You can book a private tour by donating $400 to the Gentle Barn). Words can't possibly describe the love and the connection we felt to all those beautiful creatures at the Gentle Barn. My favourites were goats...I had never seen them in my life up close....They were so gentle and warm, they just wanted to be petted, just like dogs:) Now I'm determined to have a goat some day....hahaha! :) If you live in California or plan to visit South Cali, I strongly encourage you to visit the Gentle Barn.
