Veggie Patch Clean Up + Harvest + Autumn Bouquet

Even though it’s only August, it already feels like late September here in Vermont — crisp mornings, golden light, and that hint of autumn in the air. It was the perfect day to finally tackle a garden project we’ve been putting off: giving our kitchen garden and vegetable patch a big seasonal cleanup. 🌱✨

In today’s video, we’re weeding, mowing, and refreshing the space we use every single day for fresh harvests. Along the way, we gathered armfuls of zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, and more beans than we could carry — all headed straight to our kitchen for a cozy late-summer dinner. 🥒🌶️

And because flowers are just as important as food around here, I also put together a beautiful autumn garden bouquet with dahlias, zinnias, and cottage-style filler stems from our borders. It made the perfect gift to bring to a friend’s house. 🌸💐

To top it all off, Burt built us a dreamy garden arch from scrap wood that makes our space feel even more enchanted.
