"If Every Day Was Like Christmas" by Elvis Presley
Words & Music by - Red West
Lyrics
I hear the bells
Saying Christmas is near
They ring out to tell the world
That this is the season of cheer
I hear a choir
Singing sweetly somewhere
And a glow fills my heart
I'm at peace with the world
As the sound of their singing fills the air
Oh why can't every day be like Christmas
Why can't that feeling go on endlessly
For if everyday could be just like Christmas
What a wonderful world this would be
I hear a child
Telling Santa what to bring
And the smile upon his tiny face
Is worth more to me than anything
Oh why can't every day be like Christmas
Why can't that feeling go on endlessly
For if everyday could be just like Christmas
What a wonderful world this would be

"Have Reindeer, Will Travel" by Johnny Mathis
Words & Music by - Jerry Livingston, Paul Francis Webster
Lyrics
Though you may think it's ridiculous
I overheard I swear
Right from the mouth of St. Nicholas:
"Have reindeer - will travel!"
You takes the jets that you see today
Fly through the frosty air
I'd rather stick to my good old sleigh!
Have reindeer - will travel!
Those astronauts can take a back seat
Whenever I zoom in space
That goes for men like Shepard and Glenn
As over the roads I race
Toys from the bag full to tickle us
Bundles of gifts to share
"Cer-rack!" goes the whip of St. Nicholas
Come Donder - come Blitzen, now Cupid, come Vixen
Have reindeer - will travel!
(Doo-be doo...)
Have reindeer will travel!
(La la-la-la...)
Have reindeer will travel!
Now I've got toys especially for boys
The old bear 'Applesauce'
And for the girls a dolly with curls
A present from Santa Claus
West of the moon and beyond the stars
Over the world I go
Wherever good little children are
From island to isthmus
'Round midnight each Christmas
Have reindeer - will travel!

*disc-cutting lathe - A disc cutting lathe is a device used to transfer an audio signal to the modulated spiral groove of a blank master disc(lacquer) for the production of phonograph records. Disc cutting lathes were also used to produce broadcast transcription discs*** and for direct-to-disc** recording.
**direct-to-disc - Direct-to-disc recording refers to sound recording methods that bypass the use of magnetic tape**** recording and record audio directly onto analog disc masters.
Source: - wikiwand.com/en/Direct-to-disc_recording
***broadcast transcription discs - Electrical transcriptions are special phonograph recordings made exclusively for radio broadcasting, which were widely used during the "Golden Age of Radio". They provided material—from station-identification jingles and commercials to full-length programs—for use by local stations, which were affiliates of one of the radio networks.
Physically, electrical transcriptions look much like long-playing records that were popular for decades. They differ from consumer-oriented recordings, however, in that they were "distributed to radio stations for the purpose of broadcast, and not for sale to the public. The ET had higher quality audio than was available on consumer records" largely because they had less surface noise than commercial recordings.
Source: - wikiwand.com/en/Transcription_disc
****magnetic tape - Magnetic tape is a medium for magnetic storage made of a thin, magnetizable coating on a long, narrow strip of plastic film. It was developed in Germany in 1928, based on magnetic wire recording. Devices that record and playback audio and video using magnetic tape are tape recorders and video tape recorders respectively.
7-inch reel of ¼-inch-wide audio recording tape, typical of consumer use in the 1950s–70s
Magnetic tape revolutionized sound recording and reproduction and broadcasting. It allowed radio, which had always been broadcast live, to be recorded for later or repeated airing. Since the early 1950s, magnetic tape has been used with computers to store large quantities of data and is still used for backup purposes.
Magnetic tape begins to degrade after 10–20 years and therefore is not an ideal medium for long-term archival storage.

That Sweet Legacy Vinyl Sound - the sound that was 'Right' then and still Right' for today. Hear it here!
So have you listened lately to legacy vinyl pressings, many of which harbor within them very profound sonic signatures, now that you can hear them in this manner(digitally and highly accessible)?
No Audio Restoration was performed on this minimalistic presentation so you may hear various audible vocal/high frequency distortions, as well as a higher surface noise floor throughout, including clicks-n-pops.
Treated using a Minimalistic Treatment -
The Minimalistic Treatment combined with leveraging all of today's technology both in high fidelity and pro audio studio gear equipment and software advances, allows you to hear it as close to the original LP Mastered Sound produced with no enhancements applied. The purpose is to showcase these advances in technology and also allow us to hear it the way it was first produced during that incredible era of industrial achievements in music production, only now we can hear it like never before because of today's vastly improved listening technologies.
About the "Advances in Technology Video Series" - A video series intended to illustrate the phenomenal advances in both audio restoration and processing technologies, both hardware and software, that has occurred in recent years, particularly as it relates to leveraging these advances specifically for undergoing high-level vinyl translations. In general, a minimalistic approach will be applied to each project that showcases advances in hardware equipment/technology.

"Strange Brew" by Cream
Words & Music by - Eric Clapton/Felix Pappalardi/Gail Collins
Lyrics
Strange brew - killin' what's inside of you
She's a witch of trouble in electric blue
In her own mad mind she's in love with you
With you
Now what you gonna do?
Strange brew - killin' what's inside of you
She's some kind of demon messin' in the glue
If you don't watch out it'll stick to you
To you
What kind of fool are you?
Strange brew - killin' what's inside of you
On a boat in the middle of a raging sea
She would make a scene for it all to be
Ignored
And wouldn't you be bored?
Strange brew - killin' what's inside of you
Strange brew, strange brew, strange brew, strange brew
Strange brew - killin' what's inside of you

"Mercy Man" by PFR
Words & Music by - Joel Hanson
Lyrics
I couldn't find myself today
I got lost in reflection
Retracing steps all along the way
Back to days with no direction
I wasn't wishing for those times to come again
No it was more of a reminder
Of where and what and how i'd been
Living my life without connection
To the One who'd always seen within
Who knew my heart and its intentions
He said that all could be forgiven
If i could trust in One Who'd risen
And that's when His mercy came to me
Chorus
I was saved by the Mercy Man
He touched me heart
He helped me understand
That there was shelter and unfailing love
If i'd just take the hand
Hand of the Mercy Man
All these expectations
That i'd placed upon myself
How i would conquer the giants
With the help of no one else
But i was wrong - i was mistaken
What i thought was the truth
Was not the truth at all
And that's when i heard Mercy call
Chorus 2x
But i was wrong - i was mistaken
What i thought was the truth
Was not the truth at all
Chorus 2x
He took my hand
Holds my heart
The Mercy Man

"Spinnin' Round" by PFR
Words & Music by - Jade Hanson
Lyrics
You've got to reach out and take it
Before it goes by too fast
They say that life is what you make it
I think we've made it at last
(chorus)
Some people say we're crazy but
We're all spinnin round, we're all spinnin round
But you and me we've got something to say
We're all spinnin round, we're all spinnin round
Just because you think you're lucky well
We're all spinnin round, we're all spinnin round
You and me we've got something inside
I think we're gonna make it
You've got your four wheels spinnin
You dig em down into the ground
Just when you think you're winnin
(chorus)
Round, round, round spinnin around
Round, round, round spinnin around
Round, round, round spinnin around
Round, round, round

"The Right Thing to Do" by Carly Simon
Words & Music by - Carly Simon
Lyrics
There's nothin' you can do to turn me away
Nothin' anyone can say
You're with me now and as long as you stay
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
I know you've had some bad luck with ladies before
They drove you or you drove them crazy
But more important is I know you're the one and I'm sure
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
And it used to be for a while
That the river flowed right to my door
Making me just a little too free
But now the river doesn't seem to stop here anymore
Hold me in your hands like a bunch of flowers
Set me movin' to your sweetest song
And I know what I think I've known all along
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Lovin' you's the right thing
Lovin' you's the right thing to do
Is the right thing
Nothing you could ever do would turn me away from you
I love you now and I love you now
Even though you're ten thousand miles away
I'll love you tomorrow as I love you today
I'm in love babe
I'm in love with you babe

"When Love Comes To Me" by The Association
Words & Music by - Jim Yester
Lyrics
People I have known
Places I've called home
Things I remember, to forget
But not quite yet
Ways that I have been
Games I tried to win
Songs that go on ringing, in the air
And still I care
Though I know at times
It doesn't seem
As if my world is real
But more a dream
Of how it soon will be
When love comes to me
Sweet love comes to me
Words I try to say
Thoughts that slip away
Memories that tell me to beware
But still I care
Though I know at times
It doesn't seem
As if my world is real
But more a dream
Of how it soon will be
When love comes to me
Sweet love comes to me

Hey little one
So far from home
And so alone
Hey little one
I'm just li-ike you
I'm lonely too
The road of life is a long long road
When you walk alone
Then I found you
And I found a lo-ove
A love I've never know
A love I've never know
Hey
Hey, hey, hey little one
Don't go away
Tell me you'll stay
Hey hey, hey, hey little one

"Make It Easy On Yourself" by The Walker Brothers
Words & Music by Hal David / Burt Bacharach
Lyrics
Oh, breaking up
Is so very hard to do
If you really love him
And there's nothing I can do
Don't try to spare my feelings
Just tell me that we're through
And make it easy on yourself
Make it easy on yourself
'Cause breaking up
Is so very hard to do
And if the way I hold you, can't compare to his caress
No words of consolation will make me miss you less
My darling, if this is goodbye, I just know I'm gonna cry
So run to him before you start crying, too
And make it easy on yourself
Make it easy on yourself
'Cause breaking up
Is so very hard to do
Oh baby, it's so hard to do
So make it easy on yourself
Make it easy on yourself
'Cause breaking up
Is so very hard to do

Words & Music by - David Gates
Lyrics
Freedom, keep walkin'
Keep on your toesand don't stop talkin' 'bout
Freedom, get goin'
Lots to be learned and lots to be knowin' 'bout
People, gotta reach 'em
Sit 'em right down and then you gotta teach 'em 'bout
Freedom, gotta win it
Gotta put yourself smack dab in it
Hey tomorrow
Now don't you go away
Cause freedom
Just might come your way
Freedom, keep tryin'
People stay alive and people keep dyin' for
Freedom, so don't lose it
Ya gotta understand ya just can't abuse it
Freedom, get movin'
Never gonna stop till everybody's groovin' on
Love for, one another
Callin' some friend and callin' some brother
Hey tomorrow

We'll know you well someday

Lyrics
Let someone start believing in you
Let him hold out his hand
Let him touch you and watch what happens
When someone who can look in your eyes
And see into your heart
Let him find you and watch what happens
Cold
No, I won't believe your heart is cold
Maybe just afraid
To be broken again
Let someone with a deep love to give
Give that deep love to you
And what magic you'll see
Let someone give his heart
Someone who cares like me
Let someone give his heart
Cold
No, I won't believe your heart is cold
Maybe just afraid
To be broken again
Let someone with a deep love to give

Words & Music by - Cynthia Weil / Barry Mann & Jerry Leiber/Mike Stoller
Lyrics
They say the neon lights are bright on Broadway (On Broadway)
They say there's always magic in the air (On Broadway)
But when you're walkin' down that street
And you ain't had enough to eat
The glitter rubs right off and you're nowhere (On Broadway)
They say the girls are something else on Broadway (On Broadway)
But looking at them just gives me the blues (On Broadway)
'Cause how ya gonna make some time
When all you got is one thin dime?
And one thin dime won't even shine your shoes (On Broadway)
Ha! They say that I won't last too long on Broadway (On Broadway)
I'll catch a Greyhound bus for home, they all say (On Broadway)
But oh, they're dead wrong, I know they are
'Cause I can play this here guitar
And I won't quit till I'm a star on Broadway (On Broadway)
Oh, they're dead wrong, I know they are
'Cause I can play this here guitar
And I won't quit till I'm a star on Broadway (On Broadway)
On Broadway (On Broadway)
I'm gonna make it, yeah (On Broadway)
I'll be a big, big, big man (On Broadway)
I'll have my name in lights (On Broadway)
Everybody, everybody's gonna know me, yes (On Broadway)
All up and down Broadway (On Broadway)
Oh yeah (On Broadway)

*'Tru-192' - A true hardware 192kHz/24 bit hi-rez transfer - Enhanced for FM radio play version. To hear the original AM hit single version with the Mono master sound, I've only been able to find it here on YouTube from two other YouTube channels - youtube.com/watch?v=e6rij_iz9Eo & youtube.com/watch?v=nXE1LuM67Cw.
For some reason, I don't believe the original hit single version is currently available anywhere for digital consumption for the mainstream market listeners in our official digital audio supply pipeline provided to us by the labels. And I'm not sure why because that is the original way that we all heard it, not the album stereo master version that you currently here instead.
It should be the original AM Mono sound version that is also made available for us to consume because that was the original version and sound. And that was the version that was played all over AM radio for so many years back in the 60's and 70's and is the one that is firmly embedded into the mainstream American musical consciousness and so we connect with that version the most. It should also be remedied for accuracy sake, for our listening heritage and traditions sake and for honoring those that gave us this wonderful legacy recording in the original intent sound that we all heard, IMHO.
I don't know about the high-end market digital version that currently exist for us to consume, however. It may be the correct one.
"Wishin' and Hopin'" by Dusty Springfield
Words & Music by - Burt Bacharach / Hal David
Lyrics
Wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'
Plannin' and dreamin' each night of his charms
That won't get you into his arms
So if you're lookin' to find love you can share
All you gotta do is hold him, and kiss him and love him
And show him that you care
Show him that you care just for him
Do the things he likes to do
Wear your hair just for him, 'cause
You won't get him
Thinkin' and a-prayin', wishin' and a-hopin'
'Cause wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'
Plannin' and dreamin' his kisses will start
That won't get you into his heart
So if you're thinkin' of how great true love is
All you gotta do is hold him, and kiss him and squeeze him and love him
Yeah, just do it
And after you do, you will be his
You gotta show him that you care just for him
Do the things he likes to do
Wear your hair just for him, 'cause
You won't get him
Thinkin' and a-prayin', wishin' and a-hopin'
'Cause wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'
Plannin' and dreamin' his kisses will start
That won't get you into his heart
So if you're thinkin' of how great true love is

Words & Music by - Carole King / Gerry Goffin
Lyrics
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
All you have to do is touch my hand
To show me you understand
And something happens to me
That's some kind of wonderful
Any time my little world seems blue
I just have to look at you
And every thing seems to be some kind of wonderful
I know I can't express this feeling of tenderness
There's so much I wanna say
But the right words just don't come my way
I just know when I'm in your embrace
This world is a happy place
And something happens to me
That's some kind of wonderful
I know I can't express this feeling of tenderness
There's so much I wanna say
But the right words just don't come my way
I just know when I'm in your embrace
This world is a happy place
And something happens to me
That's some kind of wonderful
Some kind of sweetness,
Some kind of warm eyes,
Some kind of soft sigh,
Lord, It's some kinda wonderful,
Wonderful!

"I've Got Sand In My Shoes" by The Drifters
Words & Music by - Arthur Resnick / Kenny Young
Lyrics
Oh, the boardwalk's deserted
There's nobody down by the shore
And the Ferris wheel ride
Isn't turning around any more
The heat wave and the crowds
Are just old news
But I've still got some sand in my shoes.
(Sand in my shoes)
Brings mem'ries of the salty air
(Sand in my shoes)
Whoa-uh-oh-oh, the blanket that we used to share
How we fell in love down by the sea
Comes back to me (I've still got some sand)
With the sand in my shoes.
Whoa, oh
When the water was cold
You would tremble and hold me so tight
And we'd sit on the beach
Just to wait for the stars to come out at night
The heat wave and the crowds
Are just old news
But I've still got some sand in my shoes.
(Sand in my shoes)
Whoa-uh-oh-oh
(Sand in my shoes)
Whoa, la, la, la, la, uh-whoa
(Sand in my shoes)
Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Lyrics
Don't blame me for falling in love with you
I'm under your spell but how can I help it!
Don't' blame me!
Can't you see when you do the things you do!
If I can't conceal the thrill that I'm feeling,
Don't blame; me.
I can't help it if that doggoned moon up above
Makes, makes me need someone like you to love!
Blame your kiss as sweet as a kiss can be
And blame all your charms that melt in my arms
But don't blame me.
I can't help it if that doggoned moon, moon up above
Makes me need someone like you to love!
Blame your kiss as sweet as a kiss can be
And blame all your charms that melt in my arms

Lyrics
Go away, little girl. Go away, little girl.
I'm not supposed to be alone with you.
I know that your lips are sweet,
But our lips must never meet.
I belong to someone else, and I must be true.
Oh, go away, little girl. Go away, little girl.
It's hurtin' me more each minute that you delay.
When you are near me like this,
You're much too hard to resist.
So, go away, little girl, before I beg you to stay."
Go away.
Please don't stay.
It'll never work out.
When you are near me like this,
You're much too hard to resist.

"You're My Weakness" - Faith Band
Words & Music by - John Cascella
Lyrics
Starry eyed, you came
Running into my arms
Then you cried don't let go
You knew I would be
Waiting to touch you
Deep inside of your heart
You are my only weakness
And I melt when you're around
I swear you leave me helpless
Now I'm begging, don't let me down
Lose control of my senses
When you're near me
Trying not to give in
But you break down my defenses
And here we are
Deep in love, once again
You are my only weakness
And I melt when you're around
I swear you leave me helpless
Now I'm begging, don't let me down
You are my only weakness
And I melt when you're around
I swear you leave me helpless
Now I'm begging, don't let me down
Don't let me down now, baby
My weakness, my weakness
Oh, baby, melt when you're around
My weakness....

"Wasn't It A Bit Like Now (Parallel '23)" - The Association
Words & Music by - Terry Kirkman
Lyrics
Silly bubbles effervesce
In the mothball smell of a beaded dress
The, 'Oh, you kids', the marathons
The bathtub gin, hungover dawns
The round-framed picture, the flat straw hat
The long-nosed roadster at a mile a minute flat
The bell-bottom pants, the fine silk vest
Are all tucked away in her cedar chest
Ah, ha, ha, ah, ha, ha
Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ah, ah
Wasn't it a bit like now
Huh Mom, huh Dad?
Are all the memories really gone
Gone of the best darn times
I'll bet you ever had
Instead of groovy, it was mean and jeepers, it's wild
It just doesn't seem that different now
The why's are the same, it's just a question of how
Doesn't it seem a little bit like now
I pose this question to your arching brow
Huh Mom, huh Dad?
Cosmetic progress intensifies
The so cool look in my baby's eyes
The far-out kids, the kicks they're on
Obsolete sins, new world's dawn
Three pictures for a quarter in your Carnaby hat
Jet-propelled cars on the Bonneville flats
Slender legs in their paisley best
All tucked away in her mini-dress

"Somebody Wants To Love You" - The Partridge Family
Words & Music by - Jim Cretecos, Mike Appel & Wes Farrell
Lyrics
On your own, far away from home
There doesn't seem to be a friend when you're alone
People stare, you wonder if they care
So, you turn your back on someone with love to spare
Try to see, it's gotta be
Lovin' one another is the only possibility
So, when you're down and losin' ground
Don't get to thinkin' love can't be found
Somebody wants to love you
Stop, stop! And turn around
Somebody wants to love you
Somebody wants to love you
Ooooo....
Hey, you! It's nothin' new
Love will be around no matter what you do
Or will you try every alibi
and fool yourself some more then wonder why
So try to see, it's gotta be
When you turn your back on love, you miss the opportunity
And once again, you're at a dead end
And nowhere to turn without a friend
Love you....
[BRIDGE:]
[CHORUS:] Hey, stop, stop! And look around
Somebody wants to love you
Stop, stop! And turn around
Somebody wants to love you
Somebody wants to love you

"Milky White Way" - Elvis Presley
Words & Music by - Lander Coleman (Quartet, The Coleman Brothers), Arranged & Adapted by Elvis Presley
Lyrics
Yes, I'm gonna walk on that milky white way
Oh Lord, some of these days
Well, I'm gonna walk that milky white way
Some of these days well, well, well, well
I'm gonna walk up and take my stand
Gonna join that Christian band
I'm gonna walk on that milky white way
Oh Lord, some of these days
I'm gonna tell my mother howdy
Howdy, howdy when I get home
Yes, I'm gonna tell my mother howdy
When I get home well, well, well, well
I'm gonna shake my mother's hand
I will shake her hands that day
That's when we walk on that milky white way
Oh Lord, one of these days
I'm gonna meet God The Father and God The Son
Yes, I'm gonna meet God The Father and God The Son
Well, well, well, well
I'm gonna sit down and tell Him my troubles
About the world I just came from
That's when we walk on that milky white way
Oh Lord, one of these days

"It Makes No Difference Now" - Ray Charles
Words & Music by - Jimmie Davis & Floyd Tilman
Lyrics
Makes no difference now, what kind of life fate hands me
I'll get along, without you now it's plain to see
I don't care what happens next, I'll forget somehow
And I don't worry 'cause it make no difference now
It was just a year ago when first I met you
And I learned to love you and I thought you loved me too
But that's all in the past and I'll forget somehow
Well, I don't worry 'cause it makes no difference now
Now that we have really parted I can't believe it's true
I don't blame myself and I'm sure I can't blame you
There was something, had to happen and it did somehow
Oh, I just don't worry 'cause it makes no difference now
After all is said and done I'll forget you
Although I know it will be hard to do
Let things happen as they will, I'll get along somehow
I don't worry, it makes no difference now
It makes no difference now, oh, no difference now

"Rain Rain Go Away" - Bobby Vinton
Words & Music by - Gloria Shayne Baker & Noel Regney
Lyrics
I can still remember
When you moved in next door
I brought you some choc'late
From the corner candy store
When it started raining
You started crying too
That was the first time
I sang this song to you
Rain rain go away
Come again some other day
Rain rain go away
Bring my love a sunny day
We grow up together
And as the years went by
Ev'rybody knew that we were
Sweethearts you and I
Through many April showers
I held your hand in mine
Between the raindrops
We sang time after time
Rain rain go away
Come again some other day
Rain rain go away
Bring my love a sunny day
I went away to college
You said you'd wait for me
Then I got your letter
Asking me to set you free
Tomorrow you'll be married
There's nothing I can do
But wish you sunshine
Now and your whole life through
Rain rain go away
Tomorrow is her wedding day
Rain rain go away
Bring my love a sunny day

"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" - Mel Carter
Words & Music by - Harry Noble
Lyrics
Hold me, hold me
And never let me go until you've told me, told me
What I want to know and then just hold me, hold me
Make me tell you I'm in love with you
Thrill me (thrill me), thrill me (thrill me)
Walk me down the lane where shadows
Will be (will be) will be (will be)
Hiding lovers just the same as we'll be, we'll be
When you make me tell you I love you
They told me "Be sensible with your new love"
"Don't be fooled, thinking this is the last you'll find"
But they never stood in the dark with you, love
When you take me in your arms
And drive me slowly out of my mind
Kiss me (kiss me), kiss me (kiss me)
And when you do, I'll know that you
Will miss me (miss me), miss me (miss me)
If we ever say "Adieu", so kiss me, kiss me
Make me tell you I'm in love with you
kiss me
When you do, I'll know that you will
Miss me (miss me), miss me (miss me)
If we ever say "Adieu" so kiss me, kiss me
Make me tell you I'm in love with you
Never, never, never let me go (Hold me, thrill me)
Never, never, never let me go (Hold me, thrill me)
Never, never, never let me go

"I Don't Want to Hear It Anymore" by The Walker Brothers
Words & Music by Randy Newman
In my neighbourhood, where folks don't live so good now
The rooms are small, most of building's made of wood
I hear the neighbours talking about you and me
Yes, I've heard most every word
'Cause the talking's loud, and the walls are much too thin
"She don't really love him"
Oh, that's what I heard them say
"She sure wasn't thinking of him today"
"I saw her in the courtyard", said that girl in room 1-49
"Talking to a boy I've never seen before
And standing there together, don't you know they looked so fine"
No, I don't want to hear it anymore
I don't want to hear it anymore
'Cause the talk just never ends
And the heartache soon begins
The talk is so loud and the walls- they're much too thin
"Lord, ain't it sad", said the woman across the hall
"That a nice boy like that falls in love
Hey, it's just too bad that he had to go and fall
For a girl who doesn't care for him at all"
No, I don't want to hear it anymore
I don't want to hear it anymore
'Cause the talk just never ends
And the heartache soon begins
Oh, they talk so loud
And the walls are much too thin
Oh, I wish they wouldn't talk so loud
And expose my heartache to the crowd
These walls around me are so thin
Sometimes I think they're moving in
Yeah...

"Message Of Our Love" - The Association
Words & Music by - Tandyn Almer / Curtis Roy Boettcher
Lyrics
Wind escorts the day outside
Clouds of sheep's wool lionize the moon
For soon the moment that we meet
Phantom trees that whisper down the street
Relay our message of love
Night, what mysteries will it bring?
Who can tell when Spring becomes of age
One page of letters bound foretells
Of the sorrow that your kiss dispels
And holds our message of love
Fires at horizon's edge
Warm the soft breath of this pledge of ours
Bright stars that linger in their flight
Who will know the plans we share tonight
Reflect our message of love
They need the message
They need the message
They need the message

"Please Don't Drag That String Around" - Elvis Presley
Lyrics Words & Music by Otis Blackwell / Winfield Scott
You like to keep me dangling on a string
'Cause you know without you my life don't mean a thing
So I beg you
Please don't drag that string around, oh no
Well, what if it should break
Oh, tell me, what would I do then
Keep that string up off the ground
Oh, yeah, remember my heart is tied to the other end
Yes, I'm your puppet, my heart is in your hand
One twist of the wrist and I jump to your command
So I beg you
Please don't drag that string around, oh no
Well, what if it should break
What would I do then
Baby, keep that string up off the ground
Oh, yeah, remember my heart is tied to the other end
I feel inside me, as sure as anything
One day I'll mean more to you than a puppet on a string
So I beg you
Please don't drag that string around, oh no
Well, what if it should break
Oh, tell me, what would I do then
Keep that string up off the ground
Oh, yeah, remember my heart is tied to the other end

Have you listened lately to legacy vinyl pressings, many of which harbor within them very profound sonic signatures, now that you can hear them in this manner(digitally and highly accessible)?
"We're all about leveraging what technology now affords us and putting it to proper use to help 'revitalize this legacy vinyl sound' and then promote it to help make it more readily accessible in the digital age for the industry to benefit, and ultimately, the music consumer, because it is just that important."
And if I may take a minute and share a little about what we believe makes this studio and others like us, so unique and relevant for today as we continue to make inroads into our phenomenal legacy audio industry to share with them what we are all about.
Our studio is set up solely for exploiting the best in analog sound that our treasured legacy recordings offer us on legacy vinyl pressings produced from that incredible era (and explosion!) of musical creativity, innovation, and achievements that saw two industries (recording/audio engineering and manufacturing) merge together in a way like never before and perhaps, ever again, to allow them to produce something that I'm not sure they were even aware of at the time, in terms of the immense natural qualities and the richness the sound brings and also how they had chosen what amounts to be the 'perfect vehicle' (the record groove housed in a vinyl medium) to ultimately transport those sounds in the most proficient way to our human ears.
And so we dig deep to uncover those legacy analog sonic signature sounds, many very profound,, buried deep in the record groove and then we exploit them using today's incredible advances in technology to allow this revitalized legacy vinyl sound to 'live again' for the benefit of all.
One intended purpose professionally is to 'hand them off' to our wonderful mastering studios so they can creatively use them as they see fit for their purposes while working on their legacy projects.
You'll find them here. Help us raise awareness. And thanks for 'listening' and caring about legacy sound.
