Eliot LashOne of my favorite parts of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is how fun it is to use the different forms to travel around the game world. I think just making the movement in a game enjoyable is one of Shigeru Miyamoto's strengths and provides a great foundation upon which to build gameplay.
I am putting this video up for a friend who has not played the game. I'm hoping to at least demonstrate how cool and fluid the controls and animation are for swimming in Zora form. Hopefully, the freedom, ease, and sheer fun of just swimming around in this game comes across as well. I also detour a bit to demonstrate the underwater walking/combat mode.
I am playing the game here on Project 64 v1.6 for Windows for purposes of screen capture: http://www.pj64-emu.com
If you want to play Majora's Mask, the easiest way to get it is on the Wii. It is available on Wii Virtual Console for a reasonable price.

This is a super crappy video but I hope it at least illustrates the unit in action, assisting Matt Payne with running visuals for this performance by Slime Girls.
This is technically the third performance of the unit.

I wanted to do a full game but I needed to pick a project that would only take a few hours, I need to rest my hands due to repetitive strain. Hopefully you'll enjoy this anyway!
However, his circuit was not sufficient to amplify the headphone out from the GBA. I replaced the input side of the circuit with an amplifier I built from a kit. I also replaced the output side of the circuit with the standard pinout configuration for the TVOut library. I had to update his code slightly to work with the latest release of TVOut. I can post the code if you are interested.

My idea is to express the feeling of being in zero gravity in a way that hasn't been done in games before (i.e. no jetpack.) You move by pushing yourself along surfaces and kicking off them towards other surfaces. I hope someday to make a real game from this concept.

I'm hoping to show off here how much fun it is to roll around in Goron form. The best part was the boss battle against the bull which you do as a Goron. I might post a video of that later.

Some people apparently can't see this yet so I'm posting a video. They did a great job of showing off the capabilities of HTML5 which surpass flash embedded in an HTML page. Notice how it captures input from across the page and layers nicely with other elements in the page.
