The story and characters are taken from the music video for "The Way It Ends", which is Somniumsaic's 2nd single in 2022. The difference is, that the story in the "Hatred" music video is a flashback of the story in the "The Way It Ends" music video, the story before the character finds the light. From a visual perspective, the character in this video wears a black costume which is a symbol of the hatred within her. The personnel are also visually set to be part of the hatred.
