(OG Commission) Possessed By Fury - TMYLB TNH Nebula 2021-08-23 | So, don't get any wrong ideas now, this was done BACK in april, classes were ROUGH on me dawg. summer term, 4 classes, back to back and they were all the brutal kind. it was not fun. at. all.PbF was a commission i actually did for Parapsyche way back in the day. the old track was, oh dear, an absolute mess. windows midi, clackling percussion, it was all over the place i hated it man. This gave way for him and i to come to a conclusion of commissioning to try it again, but this time make it a real, definitive track with my current, professional level music. i was willing to give it a go, and a go it was. we contacted eachother back and forth, back and forth all around about changes to make, directions on even the guitar solo, but its good because when it comes to a commission i always wanna make sure that we're on very good equal terms with one another making it all work out. which is why working with him was great. he knew about the direction he wanted and it made it easier to go forward even if it took longer. So as the final result, finished back in april but resurfaced only now in august, here it is.I hope you enjoy it to bits Para. It was an honor.

This one surprisingly was a lot of work... for the WRONG reasons: not only with the fact that i had to mute a ton of channels at once just to add and edit some instruments, whilst doing them intricately, or ELSE the moment i hit play, it staggers in the biggest noise inducing static lag there is and it's impossible to stop because by the time you hit pause it's gonna still go on for 50 more ticks....*inhales*But in terms of mixing, i have to be REALLY REALLY careful unless it either sounds too loud or too little, and i can't really tell easily since i have to have a few instruments running at a time or else it'll chugg, or itll potentially crash and erase all that intricate detail i put into the mixing... but ah well.In the end, I went and remixed a track that both James Landino, AND Funk Fiction have followed along with in terms of my works in progress, and they both seemed to like it, so i'm hoping they'll also like the final endproduct too.
