This theme was commissioned by Analogue Reverie for promotional trailers for the release of Touhou Jitsuzaisou ~ Dream Logical World and its trial version. The theme is an orchestral arrangement of the stage 6 theme.

To celebrate the release of Dream Logical World, we would like to share the track with all of you.

The residents of the fantastic world of Gensokyo have woken up to find that the very fabric of existence has been distorted! Polished diamonds are growing on trees, dirt paths are now made of fancy glass, the distances between landmarks have changed, and even people seem to be behaving differently! To find out what's going on, the defenders of Gensokyo must explore a surreal new world and maybe even learn to bend the rules of reality themselves...

Touhou Jitsuzaisou ~ Dream Logical World (東方実在相 ~ Dream Logical World, lit. "Eastern Aspects of Existence") is a Touhou Project fan game. The shoot-'em-up gameplay, in which you'll shoot down enemies and bosses while dodging complex attacks, will be familiar to fans of the series. In this adventure, though, you'll be able to harness the fluctuating nature of existence with reality-breaking Aspect Shifts in place of traditional bombs. 12 playable characters, arranged in teams of two, all have their own Aspect Shift with a unique gameplay-altering effect. To rack up high scores and survive to the end of the game, you'll need to master your chosen characters' Aspect Shifts and keep them active for as long as you can.

With five difficulty modes, Dream Logical World can be enjoyed by anyone from shoot-'em-up novices to expert players. The game offers several practice options to help you craft your strategies. And for those interested in lore, every team's separate scenario weaves together into a story with many mysteries and twists along the way.

With the release of Touhou Gouyoku Ibun, we finally met the 3rd gang leader of Gensokyo's underground: Yuuma. Her themes really felt like a continuation of Touhou 17's ost. Both of Yuuma's themes contained similar elements, so we simply combined the two. The inclusion of Tortoise Dragon, Yachie's theme just felt natural too. We would have liked to incoroporate Saki's theme paired with the opening of Yuuma's first theme, but it didn't really fit the idea we were going for.

Time and Space. The theme of 11th Hour's latest collaboration album, hosted once again by Crescentia. This year the collab is bigger than ever before. We have also made a few songs for the album, one of which together as Lowlands Blossom. We can imagine Maribel and Renko on their Fantastical Space Vessel "the Cosmic Wayfarer", trying to find the magic in outer space. It's upbeat but also mysterious and even a little bit threatening. And because the album was so space themed, we incorporated influences from 70s synthesizer music.

"Magic Mirror" is used for both Kikuri and Elis. The two themes differ a bit in instrumentation and in key center. The theme was later rebooted in Akyuu's Untouched Score, where ZUN added more layers and extended the song length. This is the version we took as reference.

"I know what you have been looking for. I know that truth. The secret of the Hakurei Yin-Yang orb, isn't it? Break the seal that imprisons me and I will show you that truth. Or walk away and regret your decision forever. So, what will you choose, Hakurei Shrine Maiden?"

The end of the world, Gensokyo's apocalypse. That is the theme of the Cataclysm Suite. This album has been put together by several orchestral arrangers from the western side of the fandom, under the collective name of 11th Hour. We too have provided songs for this project, be it as Lowlands Blossom or as our own. We went for Suwa Foughten Field, because it's one of the most intense final boss themes in Touhou history. And we imagined Kanako being the Mastermind behind Gensokyo's Downfall. With her wits and charisma, she caused the interal structure to collapse and send Utsuho on a deadly nuclear rampage. Moriya Shrine Conspiracy definitely confirmed?

The demo brought us some very interesting songs (including a very cool title theme), and both of us quickly settled on arranging the first stage theme. It has alot of potential for a melancholic song. And we discovered the awesome features the solo violin bank has to offer. Splitting the main melody in a "question-answer" formula feels very natural to the song, making this more of an arrangement rather than a transcription.

First of all, 500 subscribers yay!! That's why we wanted to do something special. An one-off project. Actually, this has been in the makes when we had only 200 subscribers. So yeah, this project has been going on for at least a year.

This is our first real try at writing lyrics, so we are super nervous how it turned out. There might be enough room for improvement, but we hope that you all will still enjoy it. ;)

We want to thank Esturd for providing her lovely voice and IN0RI for her awesome voicing of Yukari Yakumo/Maribel

We got inspired by quite a few things. First of all, writing lyrics on basically the original track is inspired by the works from Youtubers like Lyrica Live and MarioSonicGamer. The headcanon of Maribel turning into Yukari and abandoning Renko came from a couple of PVs "Here again, once more" and "Absolute one-way Street" by iimo.
