It is around 3 km (1.9 mi) long and 3 km (1.9 mi) wide with an area of over 4.2 square kilometers. It has seven main villages, the largest and most populous being Ban Mon. Before the arrival of the Spanish conquistadors, Putaendo was a very old town of hunters and gatherers. The Spanish were attracted to gold mines discovered in the outskirts of town in the mid 18th century. Little by little, they formed a population center and constructed the Church of San Antonio. On 20 March 1831, the Assembly of Aconcagua granted the town a title. San Antonio de la Unión de Putaendo was the first town to become a patriotic force in 1817.
The Putaendo river valley is located in the northern Zona Central and is a part of the Aconcagua river watershed located in the transitional zone, with respect to geomorphology (transitioning from the Norte Chico to the longitudinal Chilean Central Valley) and climatology (from semiarid to a temperate Mediterranean). Putaendo spans an area of 1,474.4 km2 (569 sq mi)
Every year, Loy Krathong falls on the night of the 12th lunar month (usually in November), at the end of the rainy season when the full moon lights up the sky. The sight of thousands of krathongs, their flickering candles sending a thousand pinpoints of light far into the horizon is a truly magical sight, and there are plenty of places in Bangkok where you can get involved with the festivities.

Chao Phraya Sky Park is an elevated, linear park in Bangkok, built on the central viaduct that used to be the structure of the failed Lavalin Skytrain project. The path, which is about 280 meters in length, was designed by Urban Design and Development Center, Chulalongkorn University, and opened in June 2020.
This beautiful green pedestrian bridge is similar to another, the Garden Bridge that was proposed in London, and Pier 55 in New York City. It overlooks the Chao Phraya River and surrounding leisure spots.

The construction of Loha Prasat began during the reign of Rama III but it was finally completed during the reign of Rama V.
The castle is a building with 7 floors and 37 metal spires which indicate 37 virtues toward enlightenment in Buddhist belief. In the middle, there is a hollow area with a spiral staircase leading to a view point on the top.
The stairway ends on the roof of the fourth tower. Here there is an outside walkway from which you can see the Golden Mount across the street, as well as the park in front of the temple. From the walkway you can climb one last stairway to view the shrine at the top of the temple. Buddha's relics are kept on top of the temple.
