DZO Arcana 1.5x Anamorphic Lenses @DZOFILM Another Camera Channel 2026-04-11 | I got a very quick look at the pre-production @dzofilm Arcana 1.5X anamorphic lenses. I only had access to the 32mm and the 75mm. There wasn’t a 45mm in Korea at the time of testing.As they are pre-production they had an Amber flare, which is probably going to be a neutral/silver flare in the final version.I like the look of the lenses, they seem quite sharp but still with some interesting character. The 32mm has quite some distortion which I’m ok with. As someone who mainly uses Aputure lights, I've never really gotten my hands on a Skypanel before. DZOFILM Koop Rear Filters NDs & Streaks, Mist & Bokeh Shapes for Arles, Vespid, Catta Ace Another Camera Channel 2025-02-27 | I test out the DZO Koop Rear Filters for Arles, Vespid, Catta Ace lenses.And honestly, I'm a bit disappointed. I was expecting a better result from the DIY/Artistic set, but the vignetting is too strong on full frame. I think you'd need a real artistic reason to actually use these bokeh filters on a project. Maybe rain or some love scene could work.The Mist filter for me is too strong, and there's only one strength.The Streak filter is too blue and wide, it reminds me of cheap anamorphic or anamorphfake lenses.The set of NDs is more promising but the need for shimming the lenses to maintain focus consistency is a bit of a deal-breaker. While I know shimming of lenses is something that is done and should be done for perfect focus before a project, it's too much of a hassle to add the 0.5mm shim into the Arles just to use an ND, especially as you only get ONE of them in the kit. Meaning you'd have to keep adding and removing the shim every time you wanted to use the ND on another lens. Unless you buy more shims? Or more filter sets. But at $299USD a set, it's gonna get expensive fast. Not to mention the colour shifts.I don't want to make negative videos about products but as there's no solid reviews on these anywhere I can find, I guess I had to be that guy.
