Your Eulogy (In memory of Chucks) The Correspondents 2020-12-03 | My long time musical collaborator in The Correspondents, Tim Cole (aka Chucks), died unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism a few weeks ago. While both writing and reciting a eulogy for him I tried to imagine his reaction to it. In the weeks following the funeral I studied footage of him in interviews and used this as the basis for a hand drawn animation where he listens to his own eulogy. It’s the opposite of most of the videos that I've made for the Correspondents in our 13 years together in that it’s subtle and slow moving. The Correspondents First Time Down Under The Correspondents 2013-08-13 | In March 2013 The Correspondents toured with Womad in Australia and New Zealand. As it was there first time down under they were prepared to play to a handful of people in a field, they certainly weren't expecting such a raucous reception at every gig. And no one expected the extreme heat in March.
