Google would not let me into my account, even if I knew the exact password. The system thought my account was suspicious (due to what I assume was a combination of inactivity and some ip address changes) and only asked for my last remembered password, which I did not know, I only knew my current one. I had other verification methods linked to the account but they DID NOT ask for any of them, just a different password. Inputting the same current one did not work. No matter what I did, Google "could not verify that this account belonged to me". I basically lost access to the channel.The system then sends messages to my phone and emails saying "someone tried logging in to my account and I should check my account asap by logging in". Leading me to the same login page and putting me through an infinite loop.Google does not have any human intervention, any account support required you to log into the Google account in question. Any YouTube support required you to do the same thing. Account recovery was the only option according to every canned response you would get from Google and the volunteers in the community. Even the live phone calls were canned responses, even from humans. I was given no proper advice on how to get my account back. I came up with the conclusion that the only option I had was to wait and hope that there was some internal change in Google's system which would allow it to ask me for an alternative recovery option.So I waited, trying to log in every now and again, only to get the same "we can't verify it's you" response with the same recovery method.Today I went to the Google home page and was prompted with a "Cyber Security Awareness Month 2021" themed popup that talked about account password management. It said: "Safeguard your accounts with a quick checkup Check if you have weak saved passwords". I clicked the link, it asked me to log in, I was not optimistic and assumed that I would still have "suspicious activity" in the account. Lo and behold, it asked for a different verification method that I had tied to my account. I thought the other verification methods were expired due to account inactivity and needed to be updated, so I assumed Google would not ask me about them but I was wrong. IT WORKED! I recovered my account and secured it again. It took about THREE months of waiting and uncertainty about the Google robots asking for a different method of verification from me. Incredible. I am happy I got my account back but Google's security system is very frustrating and I learned that the hard way.Imagine if I had more sensitive stuff on this account, if I didn't keep backups, this would have been devistating. Google account is mandatory in order to have a YouTube account, I kind of miss the way YouTube was before 2013.Anyways, thanks for reading, I now have a second YouTube channel because of this incident.It's here: youtube.com/channel/UCRzAO6UymjILqFB4P0W45DAI don't know what this channel will be used for. First person death in Team Fortress 2. Ronald_D_D 2013-11-25 | This video was taken with Source Filmmaker, not Team Fortress 2.In TF2, if the command cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1 is enabled, it makes the player see their world model. What if Valve added a command that would also add a first person death to TF2? When you die, the camera switches to third person which is nice but what if there was an OPTION (command) to see what your character sees when he dies. This would probably have no advantages over anyone else in the game and there could still be a deathcam. It could also maybe tie in with the Oculus Rift.
