The app will also provide best practice guidance on education tools, therapies and nutrition to assist families with living with autism.
There are limited options for autistic children and their families to get together. To share experiences, to be free of judgement in social / neuro-typical environments. We want to change this. We want to create an online platform / society where autistic children and their families can plan to come together and be themselves. Ultimately, we want to bring a greater understanding to communities over what Autism is and how the condition affects people and so the funds raised will go to the creation of an app which will make this possible.
Stephen and Si will be completing the 7 Emirates Run 4 Autism, a gruelling, 10 day ultra-marathon through the UAE in February.
Stephen is the Global Head of Data Centres for Knight Frank, and Si works in the Data Centres team based out of Dubai.
The funds raised will be split between the Dubai Autism Centre (UAE based) and the National Autistic Society (England and Wales registered charity number 269425)
