This time last year I had maybe around 50 subs, that's crazyThank you to those who have been supporting me and watching me grow as an artist and animator! I appreciate y'allWHAT'S GOING ON?In this meme, we have my Clone Wars OCs (Catified, obviously) Kent and Rylie. (Kent has the ear tips and bobtail, Rylie is the one with the blue eye). This is a fight that happens a few months after the campaign on Umbara. If you've seen Clone Wars, you'll know this shit HURTED. So, of course, I put my own OCs through that. Kent and Rylie are both ARCs and Captains in my OC battalion, the 118th under General Coda Falcin (who I've made content on before). Kent leading Foxtrot Company while Rylie leads Delta Company. The thing with the 118th is they really ignore military structure. on many campaigns, there could be an equivalent to 2 companies on the ground, but all the ARCS and Captains are on the ground as well. Coda does not give a fuck.During Umbara, Krell arrives and takes over, pushing Coda out of the way and forcing them to go on an irrelevant mission to get him out of Krell's way. Coda can only take a few troopers, so they take Captain Kent, Commander Atari, Lieutenant Brook, and clone trooper Kai. Kent is known for adopting the younger troopers and shinies and was very fond of a young trooper named Kodak. Kent put Kodak in the care of Rylie, trusting that xe will keep Kodak safe and alive. Rylie makes a promise. When Krell puts the 501/118th (both were working together) against the 212 Kodak was shot. He was shot in the neck but wasn't dead after. The CMO of the 118th, Ronin, said that there was no saving the kid. So they could either put him out of his misery or prolong his death. Rylie was shocked and couldn't make a choice, so Captain Silver, who was batchmates (and close friends) with Rylie, pulled the trigger.This lead to Kent and Rylie's friendship plummeting. Kent was upset and had a hard time grieving. He was reckless on the battlefield and it resulted in his company having huge casualty and injury rates. Rylie tried to explain that xe didn't pull the trigger, and Krell was the real murderer, but Kent wouldn't listen. Rylie eventually took matters into their own hands and challenged Kent to a spar. He couldn't refuse, per Mandalorian culture. Their spar brought an audience, as the whole battalion knew the tension between the two officers. It got bloody real quick. Rylie tried to talk some sense into Kent, explaining what happened on Umbara since Kent was with the General on the unrelated mission.Kent ended up getting a hard blow on Rylie's neck (or in the catified case, fucking ripped it open) but was stopped by Commander Atari and General Falcin, who barged in and put an end to it. Rylie was submerged in Bacta while Kent was court-martialed. Rylie's throat was severely damaged and they could hardly speak afterward. They stepped down as Captain but kept their ARC Rank, and chose their Lieutenant, Tag, to become Captain of Delta. Kent served time in prison and was stripped of his rank of Captain and ARC Trooper status. His Lieutenant and close friend/batchmate/fellow ARC, Brook took on the role of Captain of Foxtrot. Kent ultimately regretted their actions, but what's done is done. Kent and Rylie don't speak for the rest of the War, and their friendship was never fixed.owTRUST ME Thats just the gist of it, I'm writing a fic of the Umbara campaign with the 118th and I've cried a few times.Again, thank you so much for 300! I knew Jesse was going to die, but holy shit.Jesse has been a HUGE comfort character of mine growing up, since elementary school, and seeing his helmet had me sobbing while my parents watched like "oh my god" because their kid, who never cries, was bawling their eyes out.I finished the script this morning after the episode, and I'm super excited for this to be done! I'm hoping that it will be finished this year, and you guys can hold me to that.Why are they cats, Rowan?Because why the fuck notWHATS GOING ON?This pmv will be starting out on Kamino, and goes through the journey of Jesse and Kix's friendship and unfortunately short lives (or in Kix's case, long as hell). We see Selucami, where Jesse, Hardcase and Kix are forced to leave an injured Rex behind. Transition to Umbara and Kix being surrounded by the bodies of his brethren while Jesse faces a firing squad. We see Fives and Kix meeting, and Kix getting abducted by Dooku. Only for Jesse to be devastated at losing his best friend. Then Order 66 and Kix waking up 50 years later, with all his brothers gone.I sobbed like a baby and I will never recover. May the 4th be with you, I'm tired.
