We Were Wrong About the Calamity Titans | Honkai: Star Rail Homu Labs 2025-06-27 | One of the things we are told early by the Honkai Star Rail devs in the story of Amphoreus is the fact that the 3 Titans of Calamity - who brought strife, death, and trickery - are the reason why Amphoreus was plunged into chaos. Before that, people would live eternally and strife would be non-existent. But, as we learn during Castorice’s story in 3.2, life during that time wasn’t… life. It was merely existence. People were devoid of any kind of motivation, and while there were no conflicts or death, people led meaningless lives. HoYoverse presented the 3 Titans of Calamity as being the most dangerous and “evil”, but, they are the true unsung heroes of Amphoreus… who kept the world together and the only reason why the Chrysos Heirs had a chance of fulfilling the prophecy. PEAK Character Development - Helias Story Explained | Honkai Impact 3rd Homu Labs 2025-06-08 | If I had asked who is the most boring and bland character of the new cast at the beginning of Part 2, most people would have answered: HELIA. And, in a way, she was. While Coralie managed to establish herself as a well-liked character due to her quirky personality and demon lord memes, Helia always struggled to stand out due to her uptight personality… with the exception of the scenes where HoYoverse threw in some fanservice. But that is no more the case! I always said: “Let HoYo cook!”. It was clear that the purpose of the first story arc in Part 2 was to introduce this new world and the 7 Shus, focusing mostly on Songque. But, because of that, the main cast always felt like it was left in the behind. The writers cannot offer a big character arc to everybody from the get go, so they chose to focus on different characters in different moments of time. But it was only a matter of time until the other characters would get their moment in the spotlight. From the character that people were most indifferent towards, Helia managed to become one of the most loved characters in Part 2; up there with Little Que. That is why, today I will explain everything that happened in the recent Chapters regarding Helia, Revenge Spirit, and how she got this new bad ass battlesuit.This is why I love HONKAI. Is Honkai Impact 3rd Really Dying? Here’s the Truth! Homu Labs 2024-10-29 | Go to surfshark.com/homulabs for 4 extra months of SurfsharkThis video is meant to take an in-depth look at the recent trends in the player base and the decline in revenue for Honkai Impact 3rd. While a lot of people love to spread online the idea that Honkai Impact 3rd is a "dead game", or "dying" the truth is somewhere in the middle. While Honkai Impact 3rd experienced a loss in revenue and player base ever since Part 1 ended, if we look at the different trends surrounding this game over its lifetime, we'll notice that this is not uncommon and that the game suffered this kind of decline as early as 2019 - 2020. It's normal for old games to have a decrease in player base as time goes on and people leave either because they are burnt out or chose to dedicate the limited amount of time they have in a day to other games. Honkai Impact 3rd is an old game that, unfortunately, suffered from a lot of issues typical of the time before gacha games were mainstream and are not so tolerated today, like a leaderboard system, convoluted UI, and tons of currencies. This combined with the fact that Kiana's story - which was one of the main reasons people stayed - ended, and the lack of accessibility for people who prefer an ENG Dub or want to play on another language like Spanish on the GLB server led to an expected decline. However, the situation is not as grim as many people say online. While the decline in player base is true, the game still makes more money than most gacha games, even more than many who are much younger. Its revenue is nowhere near scoffed at, and I believe that the main reason people are so harsh with HI3 is because it's a HoYoverse game and it's constantly compared to HoYo's newer titles, which is not a fair comparison in my opinion. There were a lot more talking points I wanted to address in the video, but chose not to because it would have made everything too long. All in all, Honkai Impact 3rd is far from dead. The game is still thriving in both CN and GLB, making more money than some of the younger competitors like PGR and AG. At the same time, the game is already part of the HoYoverse eco-system and the Honkai series, which will only get more popular as time goes on. This will always provide an influx of players interested in trying it out. Now that I actually got to play it… all I can say is that, as a new player, you will get confused regarding some terminology from Part 1 that they use and don’t really explain in Part 2. So, while I think that Part 2 can be a decent entry point if you don’t want to play Part 1, note that you will be confused… But Hey! This is why this video exists! To help you understand and piece together every piece of lore so that you can start the game less confused.What's the Sea of Quanta? What's a Bubble "Universe"? Who is Senadina? Who's from Earth and who's from Mars?... If you feel like you are missing a piece of the puzzle here… it's because, well… you are. Part 2, while a completely new story, relies on the terminology already established in Part 1, and… while they try to explain them in the story, as a new player, there's no way that you'll be able to grasp all of that.
