I put so much time and effort in practicing farewell, but to actually get a time like this bewilders me. I consider myself a pretty good player, but never would I have imagined to be top 20 in any category, especially farewell. This game really is such a treat to speedrun because your performance depends so much on the effort you put in practice, and not so much luck or natural talent.The run itself was extremely balanced. 4 unintentional deaths, pretty much all of them not costly. I play on windowed mode and my game randomly tabbed out in the middle of recon in possibly the best place to do so. Had I been in the middle of that room, it probably would've tanked my confidence enough to kill the run. Had another near-death the last room of recon that I still don't know how I recovered. That was my first deathless recon in a run too.

2026 CSC:CS Open Qualifier FC (1,529,834) Raine 2026-03-22 | I don't know if I will actually be competing this season, as I got a lot going on in my life with school and other stuff. I'm happy I did this as quick as I did. There's a tight whammy after the 4th activation where you can just manage a half bar. I tied my PB after song one. The rest of the acts were honestly mid at best. Could've gone earlier the first act in the second song, didn't get good whammy for the third song overlap, and missed a frankly easy 400 in the last one, and plenty of squeezes that I didn't go for. I could probably get 1.531-1.532k if I have the motivation to do so.

The mesh of blood-curtling screams with the quieter, somber moments is unbeatable. It's such an intense representation of rage-filled sorrow that keeps you held captive the entire run time. There's a very good reason it's considered one of the greatest metalcore albums to date.

The 5 hardest songs in this game are so unbelievably screwed, and I actually got everything here (not including Trippolette lol). This is easily my third best console FC. My consistency on the solo was all over the place, sometimes being able to hit it 3 times in a row in practice, sometimes not hitting anything. I had two chokes past the solo as well which both really hurt. I got an upscaler yesterday so now my PS2 doesn't look like total ass on my monitor and there's practically no input lag. Got my guitar set up earlier today, then FC'd this in just a few hours. I had practiced the solo a TON on emulator to prepare for this, which is why the grind wasn't really too bad. I may run it back to get a good score later, but I can't be bothered right now. just fc'd batm

Best pace ever following site, resort, temple, and reflection. 7 unintentional deaths. No major deaths or mistakes. With my current skill, it's practically impossible for me to do better.
(GH2) Jordan FC! Raine 2025-10-31 | Scuffed beyond belief. PC is broken, so no capture card and had to record on my phone. Then my speakers died, so the audio comes from my headphones plugged directly in my monitor, which is way too loud for me to wear. Webcam is off, but lol it looks creepy.I had 3 chokes past solo C: one after the strums in F, one in the transition from F to Bridge, and one at the VERY END of Bridge. With my technology issues plus other life stressors, this was a tough grind. I pushed through because I knew this was my chance. I had gotten so good at Solo C compared to even just a week ago. I remember being 13 and overjoyed at passing this song for the first time. It’s incredible to think I can actually FC it on the same game. This is probably my most meaningful FC for me in that regard. Maybe GH3 Flames would top it idk. I know that teenager would be proud of what I’ve been able to do with this game.

I have two runs past Solo 1, one of which made it to Solo 2D. This was my first GH game I played back when I was seven and couldn't do anything past medium. The previous record, set by Fug in June of 2010, did not use any of the reverse ticks in the first two acts. I got an extra 32 points on the first act, then lost 12 on the last compared to him. I've gotten an extra 8 on the first act and have gotten 8 on the second act, making the current sum of best between us 332,722. This is also the first ever score to surpass the 60% squeeze on slowhero. I've spent a lot of time and effort over these last seven months going through the Guitar Hero series and I'm at a good stopping place. Everything I have left is difficult, and I don't want to deal with the stress of grinding anything for the time being.My total FC count is 641/660. I honestly exceeded my expectations for how I would do. GH1 especially is monumental for me, as it's easily the hardest engine and songs like Decontrol are really high up in difficulty for me. I imagine the next FGFCs I would get are GH80s, WOR, and GH1. I'm having a lot of trouble with the GH2 songs, particularly Beast and the Harlot and Trogdor (even on PAL). I'm still not comfortable with the GH3 engine, so those songs will take some time, especially TTFAF. I wouldn't be surprised if SH TTFAF is the last song left for full series or if I never even FC it. Thank you for watching my videos these last few months. Moose said the second was too hard to go for, it's not. Been playing through Warriors of Rock for the first time. Got this only a few tries after my sightread. I'm fairly close to FCing Chemical Warfare. All the practice I put in that song on CH made it somewhat easier to get the hang of on console. Still a bitch to go for, would be my third best console FC ahead of GHM One.
