The cranes were recently made tameable in the MoP beta and they came with a bonus pet ability "trick" which is essentially just the ability to jump really high.Crane hunter pets are found throughout Pandaria in the beta, and come in a variety of colors that are more attractive than the brown-red of the crane shown here; however, most of them are not yet tameable. The cranes can be found in green, white and bright pink and no doubt by the time Mists of Pandaria goes live all of these will be tameable as hunter pets.

AoE was a combination of the newly buffed Snake Trap, Explosive Trap, Multi-Shot, Beast Cleave, and A Murder of Crows. This potent combo makes for some impressive AoE -- smaller numbers coming from a huge amount of sources.
Dire Beast / Call Beast MoP Beta Hunter WarcraftHuntersUnion 2012-04-24 | This WoW video shows the new Mists of Pandaria talent Call Beast (now called Dire Beast) in action, as well as describing exactly howt he ability works and how it scales with hunter stats.Dire Beast is one of the new level 75 hunter talents available in MoP. One of three different beasts appear -- a large bug, a white tiger, or an orange tiger -- but all are mechanically identical. The beast acts like a hunter pet in Assist stance, and if the hunter is actively attacking the beast will attack a total of 6 times during the ability, and restore 12 focus to the hunter.The beast can be targeted and killed, and has health equal to 20% of the hunter health. The beast summoned by Dire Beast does base damage plus 41.7% of hunter RAP, and appears to inherit 100% crit, hit, and expertise from the hunter. The beast is not affected by hunter haste.Overall Call Beast does around 1/3 the damage of A Murder of Crows, but can be used twice as often, and restores 12 focus, and has no focus cost. Right now at level 85 in the MoP beta, Call Beast looks a bit worse than A Murder of Crows, but we don't know for certain until we see how the numbers look at level 90.As always in the MoP beta -- and in WoW in general -- everything is subject to change at any time.
Kill Command MoP Beta Hunter WarcraftHuntersUnion 2012-04-24 | A WoW video of the Mists of Pandaria hunter changes to Kill Command - which are awesome. Also, I should have stopped recording halfway through and never tried to daze my pet. Especially since if you look carefully it was dazed a couple of other time earlier.There are two big changes to Kill Command in MoP that make BM hunters' life much easier. The first is that it has a 100 yard activation range -- your pet still needs to be in melee to actually damage the target, but you can trigger Kill Command when you're pet is a bit away and it will save it up for when it gets there.The other big improvement in MoP is that if your pet is not in melee range when you trigger Kill Command, the pet will speed to it's target as if it's under the effects of Charge (even if dazed -- really). This is a huge boon for BM hunters, especially during target switching fights. Now BM hunters will no longer need to wait on their signature shot and nerf their rotations while their pet is moving from one target to another.Also, it turns out there's a limit to how many giant wasps your pet can have attacking it without any heals or dps, before the pet eventually dies. Who knew?
A Murder of Crows MoP Hunter Beta WarcraftHuntersUnion 2012-04-23 | This WoW video shows the new Mists of Pandaria hunter talent A Murder of Crows in action, as well as describes exactly how the ability works and how it scales with hunter stats. From testing it appears that a total of 15 crows appears during the first 15 seconds of the ability, and then continue to attack for the next 15 seconds. The damage of A Murder of Crows scales with 4% of hunter ranged attack power, and 100% of hunter hit, expertise, and crit. It does not seem to scale with haste at all. The crows in the murder do base damage in addition to the 4% RAP, but we don't yet know what that base damage will be at level 90 (at 85 the base damage was 790 on a level 85 creature). The crows in A Murder of Crows can be targeted and they do have health and can be killed -- their health is equal to 5% of the hunter health. Overall A Murder of Crows is a pretty sweet new dps cooldown for WoW hunters with a nice graphic appearance. The dps of it does ramp up a bit, so in burst dps situations hunters will want to trigger it a bit early so that the damage is hitting hardest when we need it to.
