As developers the process of game dev is hard, it is a very tiring process. So to combat that we need to find that time to recover. There will come a time throughout your game development journey in which you will realize that you, as a developer, need maintenance just like a car needs maintenance to keep itself running properly. Although maintenance is really good, there inevitably will come a time where you might need to step away from game development for a bit. As I personally have recently experienced this I thought it would be beneficial to share it and hopefully help others experiencing the same. So this video is a complete guide to handling burnout, lack of motivation, and basically a how to handle the inevitable situation every solo game developer will experience at some point. I hope this video does prove to be beneficial to you! If you have any questions or need any advice feel free to let me know in the comments below!
