Part of the transformation will see the entire 250-tonne, 716-metre-long track replaced ahead of thrillseekers being welcomed back in 2024. Fans of Nemesis - Europe’s first inverted rollercoaster - can watch the transformation take place on a specially constructed viewing platform, overlooking the site. Lightwater Valley's owner got engineers from British Rail to oversee the construction! Building the wooden coaster Twister at Knoebels Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain (RCCGB) 2020-01-08 | Not only is Knoebels home to the #1 Wooden coaster in the world - The Phoenix, it also has Twister, another fantastic wooden coaster. This is the story of the creation of the coaster. It was built in 1999 for $3,000,000 by Knoebels using plans adapted by John Fetterman from John Allen's original plans of Mr Twister that operated at Elitch Gardens in Denver. It is 3,900 ft long, has a drop of 89 ft and a top speed of 51.5mph. Unlike the original at Elitch Gardens, Twister has two lift hills.

The park in Salou, Spain was originally owned by Tussauds. In 1998 Universal took over and in 2005 Spanish bank La Caixa. Since 2010 the park has been managed by InvestIndustrial. As of 2020 the park now has 7 coasters.

Lost Coasters of Texas - Texas Cyclone, Ultra Twister & Texas Giant Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain (RCCGB) 2019-12-29 | Using footage from the 1991, this shows Astroworlds, Texas Cyclone and Ultra Twister and the Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas. Astroworld closed in 2005 and the Texas Giant has now become a steelie called the New Texas Giant! The footage was filmed using a VHS camera (Go-Pro wasn't invented then), so on-ride shots are handheld (and filmed with permission at the time).

The Bullet Appeal Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain (RCCGB) 2019-12-29 | The Bullet opened at Flamingoland in 1991. Soon after there were complaints from locals about it being an "Eyesore" and the council got involved. The ride remained at the park until 2005 before it went to Selva Magica in Mexico. The coaster was a Schwarzkopf shuttle loop and began life in Wiener Prater, Austria in 1982 then Boardwalk & Baseball, Florida from 1984-85.
