BODACIOUS KISYKU WORLD || Summer Storyboarding Final Project Jenuki 2022-08-05 | My Summer Storyboarding Class final project. Kisyku is an OC whos been around for a long long time (if you were here during the powerpoint video era you'd know haha). A lot has changed since then though, and I took the opportunity to make my storyboard final, "make it anything you want," to bring him to life. I worked on this for like a solid week hahaha, I'm really proud of how it came out!!I've had the idea of a Sonic CD-esque opening for Bodacious Kisyku World in my head for so long now, you know that whole "bro imagine your OC with this song" thing artists talk about haha. A good handful of parts here have been in my head before I even took this storyboarding class. You can tell towards the end like the last 20ish seconds I had to start rushing a bit to meet the submission deadline (I got it in on time!!) Regardless I'm still happy with how well that section turned out though despite the crunch.I'm really happy with how it came out and it warmed my heart that my friends and classmates really enjoyed it. It makes me giddy to see my character in action like this, and I'm REALLYYYY hoping that in the future you guys will see more of him and his shenanigans. :')
Penny Storyboards || Summer Storyboarding Projects (SEE DESCRIPTION) Jenuki 2022-08-05 | I took a storyboarding class over the summer! It just finished so i decided to post my projects here onto youtube. These two focus on Penny and her friends, Nickel, Dime, and Yen. They're short and sweet, but I'm happy with how they turned out! The final storyboard is more special to me so it will be its own separate upload on my channel.TimestampsProject 1: 0:00Project 2: 0:36Project 1 was an animatic where w could not use audio and had to tell a story using expressions and lighting and etc. So I made mine about Penny racing to meet her friends on time to the movies. She's doing the classic anime thing where you carry toast in your mouth when you're running late so it was a snowball effect from there in terms of coming up with ideas.Project 2 we were given a pre-decided list of audios to work with and make a comedy out of it, despite the serious context. So I grabbed the LotR one and figured it would've been really funny if it was undermined by the idea of it being just a game Penny and Nickel are playing together.Overall, this was a really fun class, and I'm happy to have pushed myself to finally create some animatics!! It's really fun seeing my characters come to life a bit through these, and it makes me super happy and excited to hopefully make more in the future! Thank you for watching!
