Well, I did a bit of Just Cause 3 so might as well do a bit of Just Cause 4...
4 the fun of it

5 minute windows into a bigger set of play sessions showing areas of the DLC map, characters and weapons.
At this time there is no tutorial as such for new commers to the series although I am aware that one is in the works for an update, there is an in game manual and it does 'tell' you about various mechanics, the best thing I can suggest is dive in, learn on the go and restart when you feel more at home with the workings.
Just chilling with some driving chaos, a collection of 'clips' I've had sitting about doing nothing however I've noticed a slight sound delay in the recordings.
The first hour of the game, running through the tutorial and initial game start, don't think I ran into any major problems.
An extremely simple yet strangely compelling game.
Note - I've noticed a small delay in the sound but seems it's present in the original recording which means I need to tweak something in my capture setup.
The first hour of the game, once you click with the deflect mechanic, actually, you need to click with that deflect mechanic.
Plays wonderful tribute to the classic arcade games while still feeling modern in design.
Trying to to play games for myself a bit, here I'm stepping back to finally play through this classic, especially with the FPS enhancement.
Please note: although this has been recorded and uploaded in 4K, the developers don't officially state support for 4K at this time.
1 hour's worth of 5 minute windows from a much longer overall set of play sessions, both current DLC addons are active although I'm not sure what bits are the main game and what bit are DLC but overall it gives you planty to be doing.
A nice relaxing puzzle game
This is a wonderful, beautiful little puzzle game.
I do enjoy the stress free explorative nature of this game, one thing to note, turning down the music volume seems to completely remove audio from cut scenes as in this video.
The first 24 minutes, one thing to note, turning down the music volume seems to completely remove audio from cut scenes as in this video.
The first mission in the story campaign game.
Please note: although this has been recorded and uploaded in 4K, the developers don't officially state support for 4K.
The first hour of playing in sandbox mode trying to work it out as I go along. My only complaint with this game aside from some bugs here and there, there's no guide or tutorial that I can establish however with it's forgiving nature and a bit of patients it's not too dificult to work things out.
Playing through the first stages of the game, 5 minute windows into a longer play session.
Pretty much the first of the game here. I have one small issue with this game, I'm not keen on the way objects seem to appear in a scripted manor forcing you to work around the same areas all the time in hope of finding something new.
I also hit on a couple of little graphic issues while playing and achievements didn't seem to be unlocking.
I wanted to do '5 minute windows' into a much longer game session with this game but the dreaded covid laid me out for nearly 2 weeks so will have to settle with the first hour of the campaign gameplay instead.
If you are having a problem with glitchy colour in this game you will need to disable HDR to correct it.
A thrust style game for the modern era.
A game easy to get into but tricky to master, always the chain reactions.
Get the egg safely over the finish line, only, the egg is on top of a car. Video compression does not serve the visual style well.
With thanks to Square Enix for supplying the game making this video possible, playing as the Devastator class still earlyish in the game and character development, in the areas known as Trench Town and Quarry.
I think if you get a little stuck at a part and want to resist turning down the world tier, don't be afraid to change up your skills/equipment.
With thanks to Square Enix for supplying the game making this video possible, playing as the Pyromancer class still earlyish in the game and character development, in the areas known as Deadrock Pass and Wreckage Zone.
I think if you get a little stuck at a part and want to resist turning down the world tier, don't be afraid to change up your skills/equipment.
With thanks to Square Enix for supplying the game making this video possible, playing as the Trickster class still early in the game and character development, in the area known as Eagle Peaks.
I'm struggling a little with my Trickster character but I think from what I've played there are situations that can be a disadvantage to a Trickster class but it also shows the importance to be have good equipment and be in tune with your skill set, don't be afraid to swap things up if you are getting a bit stuck somewhere.
Please note: although this has been recorded and uploaded in 4K, the developers don't officially state support for 4K.
Along with a Gen 9 Aware patch, version 2.6 brings us the last part of expansion pass 3 and load of other changes/updates, every time I play this something changes! Playing as the newly released Lithoids species, we have 5 minute windows of a longer play session, excuse the first 5 minutes of this while I get my head round everything again and some of the initial bits that changed.
With thanks to Square Enix for supplying the game making this video possible, playing as the Technomancer class still early in the game and character development, in the area known as First City.
This is actually a really nice tile based builder game, what you see here is pretty much the first hour of playing.
A small window from a larger gaming session, the Series version of the game plays really well.
5 minute windows across several play sessions working my way through the scenarios. While playing I can't help but sometimes feel Frontier's Cobra engine is not quite as optimised as it could be on the graphical front, I get the same at times while playing Elite: Dangerous.
Honestly, this game stood up well as it was but the Gen 9 Aware patch takes it to a new level. Some random custom races.
Why did I stop playing this game? May have just got distracted with other games but now with a Gen 9 aware patch for 60fps, maybe now is a good time to get back into the game
From former PopCap developers comes a fun physics based game, Space Otter Charlie. This is pretty much the first hour of the game, eases you in nicely although that area I missed on the first level will now bug me... (I expect I will be able to revisit levels)
Please note: although this has been recorded and uploaded in 4K, the game does not render at 4K at this time.
A quick one, picked up the game in a sale a while back but never got round to playing it, so what a better time to make a start! This is the early stages of the game.
The Division 2 got a 'Gen 9 Aware' patch lifting the frame rate past a locked 30fps, tried creating a new character and playing the initial stages of the game again and honestly, it almost feels like a new game.
I don't think the video compression will do the clean aesthetics of this game any justice, simple, yet beautiful, and mind bending. I run through the initial part of the game I went through in my first play session on the One X
Please note: This was recorded and uploaded before the release of the Gen 9 Aware patch.
At the time of uploading is currently in a sale so thought I would have a try, some multiplayer action also involving buses, not sure how well it performs on the base One S/X but works well enough on the Series X
Having a revisit of the game, currently has a bit of Christmas sparkle.
When did Crossout get a V-Sync option? Anyhow, revisiting after such a long time, I take my monstrosity out for a spin at 4K60
They've... changed stuff! Got some UI bits in during this video, an example of how quick it loads into the game from passing through the initial queue and overall it seems a bit more colo(u)rful.
Please note: This has been recorded and uploaded at 4K but the game does not render at 4K.
Having a look at a game about digging in caves.
Well here's a bit of a curve ball, Sparkle 2 has received a next gen update! Looking pretty and supports 120fps, not that I can work in 120fps.
Please note: although this has been recorded and uploaded in 4K the game does not render at this resolution.
Lego City Undercover by special request although just mucking about in the game completing extra stuff.
I know the third instalment has not long been released but I've only recently just got started with the second one... so here you go!
Another mixture of maps and tanks, actually have some decent performances in this one.
It was only by chance I decided to go into arena mode but there happen to be other players to play with as well.
Be sure to turn off the fame lock in the options but beware you might get some choppy moments on planets.
