Battlefield 2: Modern Combat Online Announcement JMMREVIEW 2023-05-06 | Over the last months myself and Omega have been testing ways to get servers working for the PS2 version of BF2MC we had a few breakthroughs but didn't want to post anything on the discord group in case we got everyone's hope up and it once again went nowhere. What we have achieved is not perfect there is still a lot of testing to do however it is 100% better than what we have had for the last 9 years which is no online connection of any kind. We are both very excited to share the news that we can now connect BF2MC to online severs and it is now playable albeit with some features not currently working. More information and details of when and where to play will be posted in the coming days. The date for access to the server we are currently working towards is May 12th. Omega in particular has been working very hard to get the server run smoothly but this is uncharted territory so if you have an problems connecting please describe the problem in the discord channel and we will try and help.Thank you in advance for your patience.See you on the battlefield. Shadow Man also struggles to open higher level gates (somewhat similar to the N64, PS1, and Dreamcast versions).- Changed the menu mouse cursor texture filter to Linear.- On The Horror difficulty there's a save indication when you regain the ability to save now. You can also save again after picking up quest items or acquiring a gad.- You no longer respawn with less than 5 bars of health when you die.- If you die after night has fallen you will no longer gameover.- Copter explodes into less debris.- The Temple of Blood Push Statues move faster. In the room where you dangle from a rope and have to get past several vertical spin blades above lava, the extra blades on The Horror difficulty have been removed but the other ones are slightly faster.- There's only 1 Seraph in the Playrooms Retractor room now, since there's so little space in there.- Fixed credits looping forever when Disco or Area-51 music was on.- Trueform projectile attacks will now collide with objects such as doors. The Trueforms beam attack animation is slightly faster.- Deadwing and Duppy are slightly slower on The Horror difficulty from the last beta. Their vomit no longer homes in on Shadow Man, they're just faster now.- Fixed a bug where Shadow Man's hand animation would not reset back to normal after unequipping certain weapons.- Can no longer trigger Victor Batrachian's cutscene by damaging him.- Fixed audio issues.- For several levels: Fixed Geometery in certain places. The Flambeau is a powerful weapon but its secondary function is to burn down the bloodstained tapestries of skin found in Deadside and the Wasteland. Shadow Man: Remastered Playthrough - Part 7 The Poigne JMMREVIEW 2021-04-18 | In this episode of my Shadow Man: Remastered Playthrough I back track through the game with the new gad (tattoo) we are able to get to some previously inaccessible Govi and Dark Souls. I also fight Yort, a previously never seen before boss, we fight him on the way to Loa. At the end of this episode we also get the Poigne from the Temple of Fire. Poigne meaning "to grip" in this case to climb the blood falls in The Deadside, the Temples & The Asylum. It is not a weapon and the moment The Shadow Man finds it he's equipped with it for the rest of the game. When it is in use green voodoo smoke emits from it. Shadow Man: Remastered Playthrough - Part 6 Temple of Fire (Toucher) JMMREVIEW 2021-04-17 | In this episode of my Shadow Man: Remastered Playthrough I visit the Temple of Fire (Toucher). This is where we get the first gad (tattoo) the temple is a test to see if Shadow Man to see if he is worthy of the tattoos to grip fire. Several rooms must be searched through to find a switch to add another stair step to a large pyramid. Each time a switch is pressed the guardians of the Govi the Sisters of Blood will awaken and ruthlessly attack you with flying projectiles. Several locations in this stage are inaccessible until later in the game when the player gains more shadow power, items and gads.
