There were no other passengers on the Tokyo River Cruise from Asakusa to Odaiba, and the streets and halls were deserted because almost everything was closed. We managed a few interesting sights including parts of History Garage car museum, and the 65 foot tall Gundam Statue.

It was also a fairly stormy day with high winds. You can see the turbulent surface of the water in a few shots, it was really cool.

It was a lot of work to condense all the footage I shot into these 12 minutes. The seas were mildly rough heading out due to winter weather, and a wonderful rainbow appeared at the end of the day. I was the only person on the boat outside because of how much the ocean was spraying, but I didn't want to hang out inside with everyone because they were all very seasick and puking all over the place.

Mt. Batur sunrise and the end of field school! (May 25/26) Jenn Wanderer 2015-05-26 | We were up at around 2 am to get in the vans and drive out to Mt. Batur to hike the volcano and watch the sunrise from the summit over the ocean. Afterwards we headed to our last field school destination of Sanur, where we had to write our final exams in the meeting hall of the hotel we were staying at. It was partially decorated for a wedding. I'm glad to have written finals in a wedding hall on another continent.
Ubud to Sidemen, hiking in the rice fields, Hindu chanting (May 24) Jenn Wanderer 2015-05-25 | We drove to Uma Agung, a resprt near Sidemen, and hiked through terraced rice fields. It was the full moon, so we got to hear the ceremony in the temple next door. It was amazing with the quiet sunset overlooking the rice fields. It was an early bed because we had to be up between 2 and 3 am to get to our next destination.
