Instead of getting angry in Dazaiβs behalf over the stolen pills like he thought the other would, Chuuya was instead mad at Dazai. They had an argument with Chuuya being mad at Dazai for risking his life over just a βdreamβ and Dazai being mad that Chuuya wanted him gone. With both of them arguing for every meeting they had, Chuuya eventually broke down and begged (his version of begging) Dazai to stop meeting him if it meant heβd be alive. Dazai tried convincing Chuuya that he wanted to keep meeting. Words were thrown, confessions were heard but Chuuya was adamant with his decision. Dazai needed to let go. And so he did. Dazai let go in the end.- Dazai painted a lot of portraits of the man that got away, his sunshine, Chuuya.
