A Rainbow High retrospective: How have these dolls changed since 2020? xCanadensis 2022-11-28 | Rainbow High has been around for a few years now and I’ve been praising their improvement with every release. I think it’s important to take a bit of a deep dive and explore how they’ve changed and why I think they have done so wonderfully in their relatively short time as a brand.I’d also like to bring the definition of retrospective into this as it is normally used after the end of something but it is not the only usage. It is often used in business as a way of pointing out negatives and positives in the past that can be applied in the future. Thus I think it is fitting.“retrospectivenoun: a generally comprehensive exhibition, compilation, or performance of the work of an artist over a span of years”(From Merriam Webster, accessed November 28, 2022)”Price points and release dates used in this video reflect the United States market as that is where I live and is the main market for these dolls. That is not to take away from other markets but as it is the target market and most successful market, it is the most relevant for this sort of discussion. I would not discuss Witty Toys Winx Club dolls from an American market perspective, for example- as their main market is Europe.Finally, this video contains a LOT of opinions.
