My fellow bookworm and nanowrimo aibou, may you have a wonderful day today, surrounded by all the people you love. I'm pretty sure Kylie will shower you with love so I know the day will be good! You're such a kind person and I really miss talking to you!I've been working on this AMV for months and it was always intended to be your birthday gift. Unfortunately, things didn't exactly work the way I wanted them to but I'm quite satisfied by the result. I hope you also like it. I just wish I had a bit more time and sanity to work on the last part, though. XDThis is the third and final AMV for my challenge as well. I really can't believe I didn't fail XDThe main core of this AMV is the way Rachel, Bam and Khun are caught in a tangle of loyalty and lies. My thought was, what if Khun was in control since the very beginning? What if he had understood Rachel was bad news and instead of helping her be closer to Bam, she allowed her to feel safe and carry on her plan pretending he knew nothing about it when actually he did know about her betrayal and had planned to pick up the pieces after Fug's plan was carried out.So, the story:Bam enters the Tower after following Rachel. For him, Rachel is his star, his family, the person he loves the most because she showed him the world. Rachel is his sister, mother and best friend. When she chooses the stars over him, he feels lost and betrayed but also determined to bring her back. Entering the tower, he meets Khun who instantly is interested in him. There's something in the way the blue haired boy looks at him that Bam can't understand but he doesn't want those eyes to ever leave him. He doesn't understand what that feeling is, though.Bam tells Khun about Rachel and instantly everything Bam says sends red flags to Khun's mind. The blonde girl reminds him of Maria and how he betrayed his family for her because she was so different only for her to leave him behind, and yet Rachel seems even more dangerous. Khun finds special meaning to what the Black March whispered to Bam, too. After the mess the crown game was, Khun gets to talk to Rachel and he decides to learn everything about her. There is no information about her life before she started taking the tests but Khun checks how she reached the floor of tests and her team. He understands that there's a dark secret there and so he's really suspicious of her. Still, he pretends he wants to help her with Bam.Bam is really confused when he recovers from his injury and instead of finding Rachel there, he sees Khun. The blue haired boy is so attentive and nice to him. Rachel keeps avoiding him and it makes Bam wonder why a boy he met only weeks ago treats him with such care when the girl he considers family pretends to be someone else. Are the stars that important?Khun's constant care and the way he behaves around Bam make the boy question his relationship with Rachel even more. Meanwhile, he can't understand why his heart keeps beating crazily every time he sees Khun. He can't control himself around him and that drives him crazy.Khun keeps trying to control himself around Rachel (even though he often imagines killing her) and he's pleased to see how Bam looks at him. His search brings results and soon he understands Rachel works for someone else in order to hurt Bam. He knows he can't stop it from happening so when it happens, he pretends he has no idea. Bam is dead. What no one else knows, especially Rachel, is that Khun knows Bam is alive and he was there for him at the bottom of that hourglass. He was there to pick up the pieces and trade his freedom to be with him. So, now, he can change the roles. It'll be as if he was the one who met Bam first. And when they meet again, Rachel will have to face both of them.(So, basically, Khun fools Rachel and joins FUG in order to be with Bam, planning to free the boy as soon as he can. It was my little siren project, and I still love it so much.The story behind this AMV is funny...to me. It was so late at night, suddenly the song started playing and my brain didn't register even one word of the lyrics. It just went "Upbeat. Love." And started screaming "UMIBE AND KHUNBAM AMV". When I started working on the AMV umibe won. 3 minutes with one movie. Let's go.The story:Shun and Mio have been in love with each other since junior high school, but Shun was easily swayed by public opinion, afraid to openly confess because he didn't want his classmates and his family to make fun of him/disown him. Mio openly shows his emotions, flirting with Shun who always responds to the flirting but never clearly tells Mio he loves him.One day, during a date that wasn't a date, Shun tells Mio that he should get a girlfriend and move on. Deeply hurt, Mio decides that staying with Shun will only destroy him further so he leaves the island and moves into town. Shun goes after him, kisses him and they spend the night together. However, when Mio confesses to him, Shun pretends he fell asleep to avoid answering.Mio stays in town for a year, working on himself and his feelings, and returns to the island to help with the restaurant. The two boys fall back into their friendship and try to pretend they are over their feelings. Mio has brought a girl with him, Sakurako, and Shun instantly hates her. Sakurako notices the tension between the two boys and tells Mio to follow his heart. One night, Shun insults Sakurako out of jealously and then tells Mio he should have never returned.Mio has enough of Shun's games. He's so heartbroken that he decides to end it. Shun finds out and gets him out of the water. Shun is terrified by the realisation that not only Mio could leave him for a girl but he almost died because of him. When Sakurako leaves, (Mio kisses her to show both himself and her that they aren't in love), Mio once again confesses to Shun. Shun is at first stunned, but he is mostly sad because he can see how much he has hurt Mio. So, the same night, he confesses to him and they spend the night together. Shun can't understand how Mio forgave him and he's resolved to never again hurt him. Even when he falls asleep, it is a sign of trust; not trickery. I remember I kept bothering my friends about this AMV telling them how I couldn't stop working on it. xD

I had stayed up two nights to work on it and I was so excited working on a full AMV XDSome years ago, Kylie mentioned she was reading ToG and she recommended it to me. I was so busy back then that I took a look at it, didn't like the artwork and left it alone. A year later Kylie mentioned it again and I told her I'd read it for her. Kylie, once again thank you. I stayed up all night reading season 1. I fell in love with Khun as soon as I saw him in that bad artwork. I knew he was mine immediately. Bam was such a cinnamon roll and I didn't know how to feel when we watched the anime with my cousin and then some friends and they said I'm like Bam.So this was a gift for Kylie. Back then she was starting her first job, too! About the story:This is an entanglement. It's a tale of pain, trust and growth. This is Bam and Khun...two boys with complicated pasts, presents and futures. Cold and reserved Khun who has befriended Bam mostly out of curiousity finds himself unable to resist Bam's wishes and smiles. Whatever Bam wants, he must have it. No one is to harm him. And no one is to steal his heart. Bam is equally intrigued by his new friend. Khun is his moon, his strength, his motivation. Bam's past is painful but having Khun by his side gives him strength to be the radiant sun he is meant to be. But even though Bam is supposed to be weak, he doesn't want Khun to fight his battles. So, he pushes and pushes himself in order to get stronger and protect his protector.Khun doesn't like it. He doesn't like how Bam keeps getting hurt. He doesn't like how Bam gets hurt to protect him. He doesn't like how others try to steal Bam from him either. But whenever Bam looks at him, Khun feels like this sun is all his; his to love and protect. And so he creates more elaborated plans; more plans to protect his Bam. But even those fail...because this is love...and Bam won't stay there, doing nothing when his most precious person is in danger. Now he just needs to make Khun understand that he'll always be there to catch him when he falls.I mean, have you seen Khun? Have you seen the way he gets mad and puffy and then suddenly Bam says something and Khun will calm down or do anything to make Bam smile? And have you seen how Khun hates anyone coming too close to his Bam but also loves that so many people understand how great Bam is? Of course, Bam isn't any better. He wants to get stronger and stronger to climb the tower with Khun and his friends, and he has a special spot in his heart just for Khun.

Tell me Why AMV // Your Lie in April [TRI.UMPH Contest] MiaHikari 2022-10-23 | Originally uploaded on May 3,2020 as my entry for TRI.UMPH. Kirsten and Ray followed me in this insane journey that led to the creation of DMGs.This video went against another video with the same song in an effort for my team to get to round 2. For this video, I watched Your Lie in April in two days and a half days. I'd heard about the anime but I only had a vague idea of what it was about. I wasn't even sure if it'd work for the idea I had. My song was an emotional one and I wanted to tell a story that would touch the viewers. Reaching the ending of the anime, I couldn't handle it so I stopped before Kaori's death and decided not to use those episodes in my video. So, most scenes used to depict Kaori's death and her hospitalization were actually scenes that weren't about Kaori. Everything used here...typography, masks, effects...were used to create something dramatic. For my video I used the first part of the song and ten seconds of the second part since those seconds complimented the story. Kirsten said that she almost cried watching it. Ray said it shows the five steps of grief. I guess it does. But I'll let you decide on that.Story:Kousei and Kaori were together for quite some time. They were happy, being both friends and a couple, enjoying life and music together. However, Kaori suddenly got sick and died, leaving Kousei behind. Kousei feels lost, not knowing how to live on his own. He isn't sure how to move on when she was his colors, his inspiration. Playing music doesn't bring him joy anymore. However, slowly he realises that her death doesn't mean she is gone forever. She is still alive in his heart and the moments they shared. Slowly, Kousei remembers all the things that make life beautiful, and through music he ends up letting go of his anger and grief. He accepts that she lives in him and that life goes on. She is gone and she isn't. Life is more than black and white or blurred and out of sync scenes. Everything becomes colorful and full of music again as he lets his music reach Kaori and fill his heart with peace.Honestly, the first time I listened to this song, I felt terribly sad. I went back to a really bad period of life and I hated it. But quickly I decided to turn this into a sad story and end it in a hopeful way. I wanted to give you some peacefulness. I hope I succeeded.Even though my team ended up losing, we did our best. This video is still one of my favorite. And my teammates are still my good friends. We managed to turn three songs we initially didn't like into three amazing videos and then we started our own collabs. A long time ago (2-3 years now-blame my bad memory), I pulled Ray and Kirsten into trouble by having them be my partners for an AMV Contest. We formed a trio called Dark Magician Girls and tried to have some fun. Soon, we understood we wanted to work together more often and we decided to start working on different collabs.
