The Final Moments of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Online Servers Yoshiller 2024-04-11 | The online servers for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games shut down recently, and I had the pleasure of playing Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS' final match. I played the game's 1-on-1 For Glory Mode and played as many matches as I could before the servers went down. So long Nintendo 3DS online, and thanks for the memories!It was pretty fun to go back to playing characters like Rosalina and Lucario, and I think that I've become a better player of the game than I was when I played it near its release. And though I didn't capitalize on this game's DLC in the 3DS version, I think I still got to enjoy all that this game has to offer before the 2024 server shutdown. Items along the way may help the player. Players also have access to character-specific skills such as dashes and special shots, and are seen dropping coins onto the course when being hit or when running into obstacles; losing coins appears to decrease the player's special shot gauge, while collecting coins increases it. Both the player's stroke number and total time are recorded as their score. While running, players have a stamina gauge near their character that is normally green but turns red when low. The stamina gauge can be replenished by collecting hearts. Using a special dash immediately uses up a portion of the stamina gauge.In Battle Golf, four players compete in a stadium filled with nine holes and a number of obstacles to be the first player to sink three holes. Yoshiller 2024-03-18 | As I continue my Gold February Mission, which is the name of my pursuit to win 1,000 Tower Control matches, my real life has started to interfere. That is to say, I've been trying to optimize time of playing Splatoon 3 matches while also fulfilling my chores and personal activities in the background. As such, I'll often be doing laundry or dishes while playing Splatoon, and that can lead to some noisy and distracting commentary.Meanwhile, I've opted for a slight change in strategy. Since I'm frequently using the default Splat Roller kit to play these Tower Control matches, that means that my special, the Big Bubbler, provides support when pushing or guarding the tower. Previously, I strived to pursue a daily upload schedule. The idea was that I would upload walkthrough videos on weekdays and online multiplayer videos on the weekends. However, now that my circumstances have changed, a daily upload schedule is no longer achievable. To resolve this, I'll now be working on more longform videos that can be uploaded when they're ready instead. Additionally, the footage that is recorded for these longform videos will be reused and repurposed for other content.Going forward, I intend to launch a new initiative: the GREEN and BLUE initiative! This channel will become the GREEN channel, which will primarily focus on gameplay videos. The BLUE channel, which will launch once I create once I wrap up the ongoing walkthroughs on this channel, will be a new channel that focused on editorials and topical videos. It'll be a few months before this channel comes to fruition, but ideally, it will allow me to have another creative outlet to create videos that are not just simple gameplay videos.Here's hoping for the best! (TJs 96-Track All Cup Tour Tournament, ROUND 5 & 6) Yoshiller 2024-02-04 | It's the final rounds of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tournament: TJ Henry Yoshi's All-Cup Tour! These rounds focus on the final batch of tracks from the Booster Course Pass DLC, and by Round 6, only the final 12 players shall remain! And once these rounds are over, we'll have raced on all 96 tracks in the game!Up to now, there was a HEAVEN bracket and a HELL bracket that was used to determine which players had chances of being eliminated.
