No ETs ever visited Earth (…and never will) bgaede 2023-07-31 | Lately there’s been some talk in the news about parts recovered of vehicles that had extraterrestrial origin. Here we argue that this is absolute nonsense. There certainly must be beings with human level intelligence in some Earth-like planet in the Milky Way Galaxy, let alone in the Universe. If they exist, they look more or less like humans; it can’t be any other way under the Habitable Zone requirements. And just like we can’t travel to the nearest star, they can’t travel outside of their own star system. More basic yet, our species is about to become extinct. We only had at most a 200 year window in which to enjoy the blessings of electromagnetic technology. This is less than a drop of water in the universal ocean of time. It is not so much that the clone civilization would have to have developed the same technology, but that they would have to have developed it in the same temporal window. The Search for Intelligence at SETI bgaede 2023-07-24 | SETI is an institute dedicated to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence. Perhaps the deluded folk at SETI would do well to point their telescopes and detectors at their own institute first. There is no possibility whatsoever for a living entity to travel interstellarly. It never happened and never will. Nevertheless, by the time the most intelligent beings possible in the Universe — humans — develop to their maximum intellectual and economic potential, they immediately after become extinct. This movie was repeated over and over in countless Earth-like planets that came before us. Life is simply a very scarce resource in the Universe. The next Earth-like humans live beyond the ability to contact them, not so much in space, but more so in time. Father U only gave humans about 200 years to develop electronic technology and less than 100 to send and receive cosmic messages.
