Havana, Cuba | Today is Cuba day!!! | Cuba Travel Vlog E43 Max & Jane Vlog 2017-07-25 | TODAY:-----------It's Cuba day!! It's a little late as it was near impossible to use the internet in Cuba, let alone upload YouTube videos!! Anyway, this was the day we flew from Lima to Havana!It was 5 hours from Lima, Peru to Havana. We were worried the Cuban ATMs wouldn't accept our New Zealand bank cards but luckily for us it worked in the first ATM we found! Because of the issues between Cuba and the USA if you try to exchange US dollars for Cuban pesos they charge you an additional 10%. That meant we had a few hours to laze around Paracas before heading out to the Paracas National Park with Peru Hop! Huacachina, Peru | The best town in Peru! | South America Travel Vlog E40 Max & Jane Vlog 2017-07-12 | TODAY:-----------We had such a fun day today! After arriving in the dark last night it was such a surprise to wake up and be in the middle of the desert!We had a relaxing morning, then went with the Peru Hop crew to do a tour of a nearby Pisco winery (free! Organised by Peru Hop). Who knew that Pisco was distilled wine!!In the afternoon we joined a Dune Buggy & Sandboarding tour. It was a little scary when our driver told us he didn't actually have a license but not to worry because the dunes aren't roads...uhh hahaha. Luckily he was a great driver & we had heaps of fun! Huacachina, Peru | Did aliens make this?! | South America Travel Vlog E39 Max & Jane Vlog 2017-07-11 | TODAY:-----------Today was an exciting day for us!! After spending over a month in the Andes (at 2,500m+ above sea level), we finally came back down to ground! Ahhh fresh air!We spent the whole day on the bus travelling from Arequipa to Huacachina, but Peru Hop made the journey so nice & easy! We were picked up at 5.15am, given a small breakfast package on the bus then left to sleep/watch the scenery until lunch time. They picked a nice seaside restaurant for lunch (meals were delicious & cheap!) and we also stopped to view the Nascar lines! Machu Picchu, Peru | 4,000 calories & 272 floors later! | South America Travel Vlog E34 Max & Jane Vlog 2017-07-06 | TODAY:-----------It was an early start today! We left the hostel at 4am to join the queue to climb from Aguas Calientes up to Machu Picchu. 45 minutes and a lot of sweat later we made it to the entrance! We had a 2 hour tour with our Loki Travel guide, Teddy then were left to explore on our own.Why we did this, I don't know...but when we booked our Jungle Trek we purchased tickets to climb Machu Picchu mountain. We were tired but didn't want to waste our money so spent 1hr20 climbing the steepest mountain ever! The whole mountain is steps...definitely the most we've worked out this year! Once we finally reached the peak the views were amazing! It took about 30 minutes then we took the yellow line up to El Alto for the best view of the city! BOLIVIAN SALT FLAT TOUR DAY 4: Salar de Uyuni - Bolivia Salt Flats! | South America Travel Vlog E23 Max & Jane Vlog 2017-06-24 | TODAY:-----------Day 4 & our last day of our jeep tour of the Bolivian outback! We travelled across southern Bolivia for 3 days before reaching Salar de Uyuni in time for the sunrise today!
