This songwriting session was one of the WORST ones I've had all year. The beat I made for it was great, the chorus I wrote and recorded was nice. But I felt like throughout the songwriting process for the verses, I just couldn't catch a break. Nothing felt right. Nothing fit. So rather than try to force a song out at a time where I already felt I came up short, I decided to talk a little about why it's okay to write bad songs and also why it's okay to leave a song to come back to later in another studio session.
