Oceano Airport Fly-In, Day Trip in the 1946 Aeronca Chief! Heavy Metal Horizons 2023-10-29 | I flew the '46 Chief into Oceano Airport, by the sand dunes north of Santa Barbara for a fly-in and veteran's celebration. Despite a tornado(?) destroying several of the hangars earlier this year, the airport was alive and well with plenty of aircraft on display.
