In this vlog, we explore a room in the Pa Daet area, just minutes from the Ping River and the airport. It’s a quiet neighborhood, close to the city but still peaceful — the perfect mix for anyone wanting to live or stay long-term in Chiang Mai. But there’s one big catch… flooding. 😬
We tour the room, check the building, see what’s included, and talk about the pros and cons:
✅ 4,100 THB per month (~$125 USD)
✅ Free Wi-Fi, fridge, TV
✅ Balcony + bike parking
✅ 5–10 minutes to the city
😕 Third floor, no elevator
😕 Near washing machines = noise
⚠️ Flood-prone street
I love the location — it’s dangerously close to Dubai Chicken, one of the best chicken restaurants in Chiang Mai. My diet wouldn’t survive! 🍗😂
