Join me for a busy day out and about in Chiang Mai as we check out some major city updates! We start at the newly rebranded Big C Place Hangdong (Big C Mae Hia). The old yellow and red look is gone, replaced by a sleek, modern design, a revamped food court, and a brand-new "Kiddie Zone." It’s unrecognizable!
Next, we head 10 months back in time—well, to the IKEA/Decathlon mall—to finally track down the elusive 15-baht IKEA hot dog. Is it worth the hype? I’m putting the food court to the test with a cheesy footlong and an iced latte. We also swing through Decathlon to scout some travel gear for my upcoming "ones and twos" solo trips.
Finally, we take a look at the massive construction starting at the Samoeng Junction. The new bypass is set to change the highway forever—I'm documenting the "before" before the diversions take over!
