This 5x5 flush is insane, it's stupidly fast for opening and closing speeds, and is much faster than the other smallest design (By G4me4u, BramvdGiessen and TeoDiLenarda).It also works in 1.8! :P

A super compact storage silo built by me and Razor Sharp! It has some nice add-ons as well, it has a feature where you can access the items within it by retracting a block with a piston, and has a quick store-away mechanism where you just place your items in a chest and let the machine do the rest :)
