For a few weekends in the winter and spring of 2025, the Woodstown Central Railroad operated their recently-restored 0-6-0 number 9 on a number of excursions. In February, 9 pulled a series of trips referred to as the Winter Rambler, which operated over the entirety of the line. In April, 9 was once again under steam pulling excursions. This time, the trips ran between South Woodstown and Salem for their Easter Bunny Express excursions.
Despite cloudy and rainy conditions, put on a great performance with lots of smoke, fast running, and working hard on the line's grades. So sit back, relax, and enjoy seeing Woodstown Central 9 pulling passenger trains throughout the New Jersey countryside.
