Our new-build Woodside Homes home, in Summerlin Las Vegas, has run into some problems and delay.
They are experiencing drywall labour issues which have already pushed the project back 5 weeks with no end in sight. This presents a number of challenges and problems for us having recently moved from the UK to the USA
Our sales agent has been helpful and understanding, however our situation is a difficult one to navigate due to the timing.
For reference Our contract was signed in September and the walls still aren't up today 11th or May and probably won't be up until the end of May. This is woodside homes telling us it's an 8 months build at most. We are now 9 months and not even close to completing the build. Without putting directly discussing our situation who knows if the build would have progressed at all before July.
We have heard from a number of people staring builds in October and December who have had their homes drywalled already. So we do not buy the "it is out of our control" excuse.
I hope woodside homes, Las Vegas can expedite go completion of the home.
