Centuries of history can be found along Whitehall starting back in the 12th century before it passed in to the hands of the Bishop of York. It later became the home of King Henry VIII and it was at Whitehall Palace that King Charles I was executed.
There is a rare glimpse inside the National Liberal Club and also a chat with Jimmy McGloughlin, the business adviser to Number 10 Downing Street.
Other places visited are the Old Admiralty, the Old War Office, Great Scotland Yard, Horseguards and much more.
