Rebecca SplittyheadThey're like ventriloquist dummies, only they sing embarassing songs!! This is a Gemmy Halloween singing Wolfman, possibly 90's or early 2000's, around 42 inches tall. He's in need of an outfit change STAT (that crinkly cheap fabric is awful). I was thinking of a rich velvet colored smoking jacket (purple meybe) & leisure slacks (with pipe!). He sings I'm your Boogey Man.
Halloween Singing Electronic Gemmy Wolfman WerewolfRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-29 | They're like ventriloquist dummies, only they sing embarassing songs!! This is a Gemmy Halloween singing Wolfman, possibly 90's or early 2000's, around 42 inches tall. He's in need of an outfit change STAT (that crinkly cheap fabric is awful). Now the little bugger is perfect!! It's quite strong, and the little tapping of it's leg stubs are the icing.Halloween Dan Dee Light Up Spooky Monster electronic laughing plush ball critter toys silly slammersRebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | Here's another really rare thingy. A smaller plush throw activated plush monster, by Dan Dee. The card they came with said "Light Up Spooky Monster" and the back Rite-Aid. I'd say the year was late 90's early 2000's...maybe? Unknown. Tag and card images at end of video, but neither have dates.
They're really quite adorable and possibly evil, and I guess sold only one year? Hard to find, but really, Dan Dee makes ALOOOOOT of electronic and plush toys (I mean ALOT), and the description is fairly generic, so there could be plenty out there, just loosely titled.RARE Halloween Electronic SQUEAKING Rubber Rat Toys props! Like Pocket ScreamersRebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | I really don't have much info on these, because I can't find any other images, let alone tag/line info! They're two rubber smaller (body 6" long) rubber rats, with pressure released squeaking action. They're only marked China, but I'm fairly sure they're older, because of wear and tear, better quality and paint, and age of the old button batteries inside I had to replace (by slitting the tummy open, ewww).
They're like the Pocket Screamers, only.... dare I say.... Pocket SQUEAKERS.
If anybody has ANY info on these rats (date, maker), please let me know! I have the need to know everything about everything.
And sorry if I hurt your eardrums with excessively long high pitched screeching.RARE SQUEAK Monchhichi devil boy Kiki ( Kicky) plush toy! 6 2007 NOT ElectronicRebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | What's this now? This isn't an electronic singing dancing toy! True, but he's so adorable and rare, I had to video. Besides, he DOES make noisy squeaky noise. This is a plush Sekiguchi Monchhichi Kiki (aka Kicky) toy, put out by Sekiguchi & Roto Plastic in 2007. He's 6" sitting an 8" full length.
Someday, I'm going to pile all of my squeaky toys in a pile (it's ALOT), and video a squeak-a-thon. Someday.....Christmas Electronic Singing Jib Jab Nasty Santa 2002 adult plush toyRebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | This is a plush singing Nasty Santa toy, from the online Jib Jab website, year 2002, 8-9" tall. He's rude.Christmas Plush Singing Humm Bugs Butterfly toy by Kurt S. Adler 7 REALLY RARERebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | This is a super rare Christmas plush singing Humm Bugs Butterfly by Kurt S. Adler that I luckily bought off the shelf back when, because hard to find now! It was around the late 90s early 2000's era, but there's no date on tags. I think she came in purple too, but can't find any images. Tag image in last part of video. I did add thin wires in her wings, because they were floppy. Her batteries were dead this year, but it was really easy to undo the stitching in the back of her head, pop the unit out, and replace (3 standard button batteries). Yes, she is singing BUTTER multiple times. We should all be like her, and just hum songs repeating our name through the whole thing. The world would be a better/more confusing place.
She's very loud and absolutely adorable. I hope I repeated the loop enough times that this song will be stuck in your head all day, and you'll go around singing it and people will look at you strange. Butter? huh?VERY RARE Electronic Singing Annoying Orange - Marshmallow Christmas Plush Holiday Elf toy!Rebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | This is a reaaallly rare (I guess only sold one year?) Annoying Orange Christmas plush singing toy! Marshmallow Holiday Elf, about 4.5" high (to head), sings multiple phrases. There were also the Pear and Orange sold that year (tag image in last part of video).
It's not your computer, the singing is a lower sound level, but if you get him close to your face you can hear him fine, and why WOULDN'T you get him close to your face. Of course you would.Halloween Dancing Singing Mad Scientist Evil Ways Gemmy 2000 12 Electronic Animated toy Prop RareRebecca Splittyhead2021-12-17 | This is a rare older Gemmy Halloween animated toy! I mean, I guess the year 2000 is older now. :/ He's a smaller tabletop 12" prop, sings to 'Evil Ways' classic song. I'm fairly picky about the voices they use, and I love the one they picked for this. Matches doddy ol' scientist perfectly. Note: The waistband has really lame elastic, so his pants were falling down and shirt untucked. I tacked it in three places to keep it flat. Oh, now he's not as messy and ramshackle as a befuddled scientist should be. hmmmph.Valentines Gemmy Monster Maniacs red electronic singing toy Mahna Mahna songRebecca Splittyhead2021-11-12 | I know there are TONS of Gemmy's Monster Maniacs vids out there, but this one is MINE and he's so freaking cute.
I normally don't do many Valentine's toys, in fact it's my least favorite holiday and I usually ignore it, but sometimes there are special toys out there, and this is one! Singing the Muppets Mahna Mahna song. For an interesting media history lesson, research where the song came from! (or maybe NOT).
I think this was made around 2006, in three different colors. Also other Monster Maniac colors that are non-Valentines.Halloween electronic Voodoo Shrunken Heads shaking prop - F.I.T.C.O 2008?Rebecca Splittyhead2021-11-11 | These are some neat rare Halloween shaking props. Two Voodoo Shrunken heads, about 6" (head size). I lost my tag ages ago, but I marked down that they said Shrunken Head by F.I.T.C.O. The head itself is unmarked.
They have an on/off switch on the back, and when they're turned on they just go continuously. There is no timer, and no bumping activation, they're just on until the batteries run out, or are switched off! Okay. Also, those are real metal chains dangling, not plastic, so they make authentic chain sound.
I'm not sure of the date, but there is one more video of them uploaded in 2008 (seems right), with a third style of head.Goosebumps Shakin Creatures Curly - electronic toy head shaker 1996 skeleton toyRebecca Splittyhead2021-11-11 | This is a rarer head shaker toy, Goosebumps Shakin' Creatures, Curly, by Toymax 1996. There's a switch underneath, and he's touch sensitive, and just does the standard head shaker noise and movement, standard head shaker 5" size.CUSTOM paint Halloween 3FT Skeleton Butler Pan Am 2015 electronic toy decor prop talking lights upRebecca Splittyhead2021-10-24 | This is a Halloween electronic prop that I custom painted the poop out of.
A 3Ft Skeleton Butler with 9 really amazing spooky phrases. His talking was so spooky charming, it inspired me to upgrade him to a TRUE Halloween Butler. At the end of the video I show the before and after. The video includes two cycles of his nine phrases. He's activated three ways. He's VERY touch sensitive, which is great. Slightest bump and he's off! The second is a VERY loud clap (lighter noises don't work). The third is the button on arm, which when in Demo mode is the only way he's activated.
The original was by Pan Am 2015, sold at Rite Aid and later other places. This WAS the cheap top hat no-hair version (not the white hair one), and I did alot of paint washes and custom hair. Also it was SO cheaply made, that the soft plastic poles and waist brace were sagging with the weight. I had to put stick braces inside, and a weight on one leg, seems to have worked. Also the 'hot glued' electronics needed better glue.
Here's a long boring tutorial what I did, if you want to try the same on yours! I used watered down paint washes, artist acrylic for the plastic, and latex for the clothes. The plastic head and hands had to be sanded down first, for paint to stick. Buffing off with dry rag got the aged look. The clothes needed wet slopped all over washes. MESSY!. Hair dryers were employed between layers. The bright green had to be solid paint spooged over the dried fabric. I used a watered down black to blend, and it also adds stiffness to the really cheap fabric (I like projecting, but no WAY was I going to sew a whole new suit out of better cloth, I mean, not this time). The fur hair I hand sewed hems so the material edge doesn't show, and added sideburns, and paint washes to weather it. I used staples and pins to attach, as most glue never sticks to plastic for long. I also added blood drips to the platter, then cut clear plastic to put over top, so you can put candy or the remote control for the TV (you know you WANT a TV Butler) on it without scratching the paint.Space Blaster Spirit Store 2021 Halloween electronic ray gun toy Lights SoundsRebecca Splittyhead2021-10-16 | This is a Space Blaster, a simple plastic ray gun sold by Spirit Store 2021 ($12.99 retail), but I really really love it. I like the monochrome cartoonish scheme, and the fact it lights up red is glorious. It has great sounds too, and they go unending on a loop for as long as you hold your finger on the button!Killer Klowns from Outer Space - Cotton Candy Gun - Spirit Store 2021 electronic toyRebecca Splittyhead2021-10-16 | I know there are TONS of videos out there already....but this is MY gun!! :o I decided to cut right to it, not waiting for talking. It's glorious! Time to stomp about town terrorizing people now.
Oh, 2021 Spirit Store ($24.99 retail). Sold out fairly quickly, hopefully they'll release them next year too.Electronic Toy Ape King Kong - 8 Prehistoric Times Motorized Walking Gorilla, sounds lights upRebecca Splittyhead2021-10-09 | This is one of those silly cheap walking battery toys they've put out recently, but WOW! An angry swole mean Kong type ape! Love it!
He's a smaller 8", and doesn't really walk, just scoots in place. I've tried him on smooth and rough surfaces, but at least that way you don't have to worry about him walking off the table. Oh! It looks like there's a function that when you move his arm down he grunts (I didn't discover until after the video)
He has a shorter 'Try Me' option (in the box, and at the end of video), and a longer 'Play' version. At the end of his scooting and huffing, if you wait a long time (much longer for play), he'll emit some wonderful gorilla sounds. One for Try Me, and two different ones for Play.
Honestly, one of my favorite things about him is his slicked back brown hairdo that doesn't match the rest of his fur. I kinda want to put some sideburns and a brown mustache on him, to 70's him up, for no reason whatsoever.Goosebumps Haunted Mask Door Knocker - Electronic Toy Lights Sounds Talking 1996Rebecca Splittyhead2021-10-09 | This is a super neat and kind of rare Goosebumps electronic toy! Haunted Mask Door Knocker, 1997. He hangs on the wall, you push the ring. He only has one phrase, but I love his accent, pronunciation, and laugh so I find this acceptable. :P It's a smaller plaque, about only 7" tall. At the end of the video, I put some general action figures in for a size comparison.Halloween Latex Space Alien animated Prop 2017 Sunstar Ind 21 - Gothic CollectionRebecca Splittyhead2021-10-09 | This is a rarer super cool Halloween animated prop decor, a SPACE ALIEN by Sunstar Industries 2017. You'll find old listings as 22", but really he's 21". In the end of the video I have the tag and factory box information.
He's latex over foam, with a hollow inside for the electronics. He's both sound and wiggle-touch activated. The animation is immediate, and in the video my clap doesn't even finish before he starts. He wiggles as well as lights and sounds. Seriously my favorite animated figure ever now. He's...... out of this world? Too corny?
The ebay seller that had the last stock of these is sold out now, so it may be quite some time before another pops up on the secondhand market, if you're wondering where to find him! Don't trust that simple weird website that has him listed for $40, that's one of those fake China scam sites, FYI.Telco Motionette Christmas Santas Helper Toy Maker Elf RARE 24 striped 1994 version! electronicRebecca Splittyhead2021-03-31 | I've stumbled across a really cool later version of Telco's Christmas motionette Santa's Helper / Toy Maker Elf! Most of the toy maker elves have boxes or stickers that put them around 1991, 1992, 1993, and they're about 20"-21" to the head, but this rarer paler skin striped version is taller, about 24" to head, and the box says 1994. I've included a size comparison with an earlier version, and at the end is a pic of the box and info. Oh, I always kind of take the glasses of and stuff the hats up to make them more fantasy elf gnome like and less Christmas exclusive (don't flay me!). I think I'll put a red jester skirt with bells on the striped to to make him more festive! I'd LOVE to get a whole room of these and turn them all on at onece. Not creepy at all. But they're too expensive online, and so far I've only thrifted two. Life goals!Halloween Electronic Gemmy Werewolf goblin singing Plaque decor toy Wild ThingRebecca Splittyhead2021-03-31 | When I found this Gemmy 1998 "Werewolf" (even though it looks like a green goblin, not a furry werewolf) halloween plaque thrifting, I was pretty excited. I mean, it had to have some spooky sounds or dire warnings, right?
Then I got it home and plugged some batteries in. GAH!! Not THAT song again! grrrrr. Seriously, that song should be banned from all electronic items for awhile, it's way overdone. And for a spooky creature Halloween monster, just no. Totally bummed. I may end up selling it, because I can't stand the offense of it being to generic and an assault to ears, or I may eventually get over it and sing along. Who knows! Just another 'life is unpredictable' lesson. (:/Forbidden Planet Robby Robot 14 Walmart 2020 Light Sound Walking Talking electronic ToyRebecca Splittyhead2020-02-05 | Here's a video of the recent Forbidden Planet Robby Robot talking light-up electronic toy.
He's actually 14 inches tall (even though all the stores say 12 inches), and walks on rollers. You have a button on the back for just lights and sound, or switch it to walking with lights and sound. The company is Walmart and Goldlok Holdings, who previously made a bunch of trains and generic robots. I hope they continue the Movie TV robot trend, he's pretty neat. (They also made the Iron Giant and released it at the same time).
Ignore my chubby uggo hands. If I had a hand model friend, I'd use 'em. But I don't. :(Marionette Limber Louie rapping bird monsterRebecca Splittyhead2019-12-19 | This is a Limber Louie marionette by Great American Fun Corp, the electronic rapping version! Made in the 90's sometime. Seriously tubular.
When there's not an operator making him move, as you can see in the last part of the video, his head just vibrates a big and he sings, but no other movement. The head is really heavy too.Halloween Drop-Eye Skull by Fun World Div Electronic Talking Toy DecorRebecca Splittyhead2019-10-28 | This is a great older Halloween electronic talking toy. It's a Drop-Eye Pirate skull. He only says one thing, but who can argue with a dropping eye?
He's motion sensored, by Fun World Div. / Easter Unlimted Inc. and from the late 90's or early 2000's (I can't remember).Halloween Gemmy Pumpkin Talking Candy Bowl electronic toy prop decorRebecca Splittyhead2019-10-28 | This is the most charming candy bowl I've ever seen! A Gemmy talking Pumpkin candy bowl with moving teeth! Says alot of fairly funny things. By Gemmy Industries, and I think the year was late 1990's or early 2000's. He's motion sensor activated, or when you have it on the OFF position, you can still activate him by the button on the side at any time.Halloween Skull Fright Frame talking electronic toy decor propRebecca Splittyhead2019-10-28 | This is one of my first real electronic halloween toys! A skull Fright Frame by Great American Fun Corp. in the late 90s. He has a motion sensor on either side, and just says three things, but fairly funny. Sometimes he just spazzes out and says them all right after each other, just to shake it up. Fairly loud too, just to give you a jump.Halloween Totally Ghoul snake Haunted Skull Head - Electronic Talking Light-Up Toy DecorRebecca Splittyhead2018-11-03 | This is a fairly rare, year unknown, Halloween talking light-up snake influenced skull. It's standard skull-size, has a light up function only (great for room decor!), or talking with motion sensor or push button option. It only has ONE saying, but it's such a fantastic saying! Very old-school doom and gloom. It's actually very toycentric, as in it would look great with 80's style MOTU type sci-fantasy action figures. (NFS, I'm keepin' him forever). The year is unknown (no date on box) and he's very hard to find, but when's the last time K-Mart had their own quality exclusive halloween toys? (I actually don't know). The only one of these I could find on the internets had a lady stating she bought it 20 years ago. It does seem very early 2000's.Halloween Light-Up Talking Skull cartoonish with freaky Arms ToyRebecca Splittyhead2018-11-03 | This light up animated silly creepy Halloween talking skull is SO GREAT. He's larger, a really a light plastic, blow mold actually, and has stuffed arms attached and a purple mohawk. He's sensor activated (I still have the test me strip on), his eyes light up and he only has one saying, but it's such a GREAT saying. His only marking is China, but I've seen pics of him in a box and he's officially called "Light-Up Skull" (great, that doesn't produce thousands in search results or anything). I suspect he was put out in early 2000's, but that's just a guess.Halloween Animated Ghost Tree - Rite Aid Electronic Taking Toy 2017Rebecca Splittyhead2018-11-03 | This is a newer Animated Ghost Tree that came out in Rite Aid last year (2017), and is all over the internets and thrift stores this year (2018). While it may be plentiful now, snatch them while you can, because it's really great actually, and there aren't a whole lot of table top animated trees styles out there! It has a rubber face that changed expressions when it talks (although there's one saying I can't quite make out), and really great sounds, including background noises. Really nice Halloween must-have. (Actually, I leave my toys up all year round, and I 'die' for spooky trees, so I'm actually super enthralled by it).Animated E Monkey by Senario LLC Electronic Talking ToyRebecca Splittyhead2018-11-03 | Here's a great funny (yet somehow creepy) electronic Monkey of some kind, by Senario LLC (not Scenario, no 'c'). It's whole face is animated (not well), and it has creepy realistic eyes. You can turn it on by the very interesting rubber belly button, or it's sound activated. Also, when it's sitting there quietly, it'll just start making noises with facial expressions out of the blue (even when it's turned off). Surprise! It's kind of hard to find, so I'm not sure if there's many videos of it out there. It also takes a whopping six AA batteries!Halloween Gemmy Spirit Ball Fortune Teller electronic animated talking toy !Rebecca Splittyhead2016-10-08 | This dashing fellow is a Gemmy Fortune Teller version of the Spirit Ball. The date on the box for this was is 2005!Halloween Talking Electronic Nicky Da Knife 2008 Magic Power Co Toy Prop Ghoul Zombie headRebecca Splittyhead2016-07-05 | I just found this AWESOME talking Halloween toy, and I think it's my favorite yet. I found it second hand though, so I don't know what it was originally called or how packaged. He's 14" tall, and says Magic Power Co 2008 on tummy. He lights up and (obviously) saws a knife through his head in, no less, a Michael Keaton Beetlejuice voice! I mean SERIOUSLY. What could be better. Blood packs squirting? That might get a little messy.Yano the Interactive Storyteller 2001 electronic ToyRebecca Splittyhead2016-03-23 | This is my Yano electronic toy I recently found! He's an interactive choose-your-own-adventure storyteller. He comes with multiple cartridges and cards that slip into the remote control. By touching the remote you answer and make story decisions! If you don't answer when he asks a question, he asks again, then if still unanswered gets haughty , basically says fine bye, and turns himself off. I forgot to video that part. When I get a better video recorder I'll make a vid that shows his incredible expressions more clearly...
Most Yano's don't have the dark age spots on the cheek. Mine is special. ^-^ ...or diseased.Dracula Vampire 1988 vintage Motionette by Funny Toys Corp like TelcoRebecca Splittyhead2014-01-07 | This is a really 16 inch early motion-ette, and it's not Telco (like I thought it was before I found one). It's by Funny Toys Corp 1988. There's not much to see in the video. He's sluggish and doesn't work properly....until you whack him with a stick!! But oooohhhh, so much personality in that charming face.
and he looks even better on the shelf: http://www.flickr.com/photos/splittyhead/9088409443 http://www.flickr.com/photos/splittyhead/9088409885Customized 1990 Telco Dracula Motionette ...as BLACULA !!!Rebecca Splittyhead2014-01-07 | This is my custom Blacula motionette, made from a 17in 1990 Telco Vampire Motionette. I glued on facial hair, changed the cape lining, sewed on sleeves with cuffs, lapels, and pocket to the exsisiting vest. I changed the bowtie, and added pants (attached with velcro on the back, so you can pull them off to reveal the cheestastic striped pants beneath!). So I got out my rags, paints, and sewing stuff and customized her...alot! Interestingly I didn't have to touch the face at all, it was already fantastic (I did have to add a hair top). I think I bought them in the early 2000's, and still adorable. Gemmy electronic battery singing Hamsters and Squirrel, decked out in Christmas glory. Getting hard to find now... (:[Gemmy Christmas electronic SNOWMAN singing Year without Santa Snow Miser songRebecca Splittyhead2012-12-25 | Apparently this snowman is a fan of Year without a Santa's Heat Miser song, as he knows all the words and even sings all the parts, but he is obviously not a heat miser, only a snowman. 0-0 weird. And, by the way, really violent. That snowflake dangle whips around with ninja quality, keep the hair away from it! You can see after awhile his hat droops and he starts hitting it. Stop hitting yourself. Stop hitting yourself. [:P I bought this in the early 2000's I think. It's by Gemmy and is a huge 17.5" tall. You can plug him to an AC cord too.Disney Toy Story Talking Alien Plush toy 12 inch Thinkaway ToysRebecca Splittyhead2012-12-07 | Ever wonder what the large talking Toy Story Alien did? Well, here's what he does! His head lights up, and he says three phrases when you touch his tummy. On the last phrase, his head stays lit up for like 1-2 minutes before turning off. He's 9 inches to his head, or 12 inches to his antenna top. Vinyl head and hands, plush body. He was released by Thinkaway Toys when the first movie came out.Halloween Spirit Zombie Babies Baby Wiggler DUM-DUM Ventriloquist Animated Decor 2012Rebecca Splittyhead2012-12-05 | This is the wiggler version of Spirit Zombie Babies from the 2012 assortment. This is the creepy ventriloquist dummy 'Dum-Dum' baby. He shakes VERY violently. Adorable! As you can see when he's sitting down, the different way his legs are positioned leads him to do some ...interesting things! His legs are poseable you you can make him lean forward or back, which is nice. The video makes it look like the eyes are glowing, but they are not. How awesome would it be if they were though?! Hee hee. Youtube automatically detected the video was shaky and offered to fix it. I think my whole room was shaking. I wonder if they could fix that.Halloween electronic Skull Tornado Globe in the darkRebecca Splittyhead2012-10-04 | ...just another vid of the skeleton Tornado Globe working in the dark. spoooooky.Halloween Electronic talking NIGHT CRAWLER ghoul zombie crawling toy!Rebecca Splittyhead2012-10-02 | BOOM! Now this is my favorite halloween toy I have ever. This is a crawling talking monster or ghoul or zombie or experiment, by Gemmy / Target Brands 2007. He's 13" from arm to arm, and his head is 6" x 7". I have him on my stereo top, directing him with my fingers because he runs out of room, but you put him on a floor (hard surface), and he TAKES OFF!! He goes a very long distance, and meanders all over the place so you don't know where he's going. He's also touch, vision, or sound sensitive. You should see the cat. ^-^Halloween electronic talking SKULL Skeleton Grim Reaper SPIRIT BALL globe !Rebecca Splittyhead2012-10-02 | MAH FAVORITE!! This is an awesome 14" (without legs) talking Halloween electronic Skeleton Spirit Ball globe! Or Skull or Grim Reaper. This edition is a 2008 Gemmy / Target brands one. I filmed this with backlight, as the silver paint looks more like spooky misty clouds, but normally it just looks like a skull against a solid silver background. This is easily my favorite because of the sayings. He ROCKS. The first saying is obviously my favorite. ^-^Halloween electronic Ghouls Gala Witch Spirit Ball talking Front Light!Rebecca Splittyhead2012-10-01 | This is an awesome 14" (without legs) talking Halloween electronic Witch Spirit Ball globe! This is one with direct front light, like she usually looks. This edition is a 2008 Gemmy / Target brands one. I also filmed one with backlight, as I think it's neat how different light sources can change the look.Halloween Singing Electronic Gemmy FrankensteinRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-29 | Gemmy Halloween singing Frankenstein, possibly 90's or early 2000's, around 37 inches tall. He's in need of an outfit change STAT (that crinkly cheap fabric is awful). I was GOING to do him in a traditonal Universal Monsters outfit & paint... until I heard him sing a redone 80's song. For reals. He sings a new version of 'Who can it be now?' so now I may have to do him in an 80's Duran Duran Miami Vice suit.Rare 2001 Halloween Puppet Candy Grabber Dragon Bat Bag toyRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-22 | Are they a puppet?! Are they a candy snatcher? Are they Halloween bags? I JUST DON'T KNOW!! [all]. These are a couple of rare Halloween puppet candy grabber bags by Fright Asylum / Disguise Inc 2001!! They're made of rubber vinyl with a cloth candy bag attached, and there's a simple pull mechanism like a ventriloquist or punching puppet inside that opens the mouth. So you can go around and grab a mouthful of candy from the surprised candy giver. TRICK!!! There may have been more styles, but these were my favorites. The bat is actually much smaller (bag and throat) than the dragon, and needs help getting things down his gullet. Also, I added wires to his droopy foam wings to give them shape. I've NEVER seen these since I picked them up off the store shelf in 2001, and I can't understand that because they're so ingenious. They should be made every year. EVERY YEAR!!! I also want a ravenous snowman or gingerbread man for Christmas goodies too. Although that could get a little messy with Pie.Electronic Talking Halloween Decapitated Head Platter (CUSTOMIZED!) by GemmyRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-21 | This is a sweet decapitated head platter candy dish I bought in the late 90's or early 2000's. It's highly motion sensitive and has 4 sayings (the humming my favorite of course). However I always thought it sounded like his lips were sewn shut, so I brought out mah tools, drilled holes around his lips, and sewed them shut! (i.e. twister seals). Then I put some black paint around the holes, under chin, brow, back of head. Now he's peerrrrfect. He always reminded me of Fester from Addams Family a little.Halloween Animated Talking Skull in Picture FrameRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-21 | Here's a single video of my older Halloween electronic decor. I think I bought it in the late 80's to early 90's. It's a simple side motion sensor, so he doesn't talk until you're almost by him. When I bought him, I SWORE the voice sounded familiar. I've placed it. I swear it sounds a bit like George Takei. Ahhhh Mr. Takei, I hardly knew ye.Donna the Dead Gemmy Animated Halloween Spider & Globe eerieRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-21 | These are like the coolest Halloween things eva. I believe the line was called Donna the Dead by Gemmy, and they were distributed by some local store in the late 1990's or early 2000's. They're not very big, the fuzzy spider lady is 6 inches wide and the tiny Tornado globe is only 4 inches tall, but they pack a punch! Creeepie. The small globe has the most unearthly unsettling howl that the camera doesn't pick up well. Even gives me the shivers, which is HARD. (:DAnimated Electronic Halloween GRUB Maggot toy!Rebecca Splittyhead2012-09-20 | This large 9.5" long Grub maggot is the coolest electronic toy evaaa! It's just some random Halloween toy I picked up from Target one year (last one!), maybe early 2000's, and I've never seen one since. I've HEARD there's one out there that sings, but mine just makes glorious disgustingly squishy grub sounds. It's made of soft rubber realistically grody skin, and made by Gemmy company. He's motion sensitive on the front and very touch sensitive. His torso twists to move, and his legs move & crawl independently. Feels VERY weird when you put it on your arm.Animated Halloween Toy Decor CompilationRebecca Splittyhead2012-09-20 | Loook! I'm decorating Flickr for the Holidays. Thought I'd make a complilation of electronic stuffs with my crappy photo camera video, as each isn't that astounding alone. Most this stuff I bought in the early 1990's thru early 2000's. The first one is a Pitare Skull arrrrrrhhhh that has a pop-eye eye when he sees you, 2nd skull in picture frame (I may have even bought in the late 80's) I SWEAR sounds like George Takei. 3rd one is 1988 motion-ette vampire, and the reason I'm beating up on him with a stick (and scratching his head with it) is his motor doesn't work well anymore and he stops. 4th is a pumpkin candy bowl that says MANY sayings when you reach for candy, and his teeth wiggle!! He can be hard to understand, so here's what he's saying: "Heeey hey, get your hand outta my mouth!" "Do it again, and the hand's mine, buster!" "YOU AGAIN?! HAAhahaha" Haahaa I Know, Ghosts aren't SUPPOSED to have teeth! So what?", "dohhmffm *cough cough* ewwww" "[evil laughing]" "aha Nooooo, you don't want this here candy! Try another bowl." The next two are crawling hands, human and monster. The human one needs a button to push, and he doesn't crawl very long. The monster hand is awesome, as it's VERY touch sensitive, barely touch it and he's off running, plus he makes creepy fingernail ticking sounds as he crawls. Lastly the halloween tree doesn't have an animated face anymore! The motor went kaput. So he just talks.
